Week 1 progress
It's been exactly 1 week since we started working on Do the Dancing! and we're really proud of our progress so far. Here's the first look!
Practice Mode: Dance Move Menu
We decided to start with The Bernie since we thought it'd be pretty easy to detect. We have a list of dance moves we'd like to implement next but if you have any suggestions, please let us know via twitter!

Clicking on "See In Action" will show you how to dance to the beat of the music.

Practice Mode: Do the Dancing!
Moves are detected by the phone's gyroscope & accelerometer. The radial timer at the bottom represents the remaining time per step. Since it's hard to look at the screen while dancing, we also have Alice's awesome voice acting in the game to let the player know what step they are supposed to perform.
Practice Mode: Results
Our goal here was to help players learn what part of the dance move they got wrong so they could work on that step specifically. Clicking on the + button will show your steps results per move and clicking on the colored step circle will show you a detailed explanation on how to execute the step correctly.
