#WARNING sleepy ramblings of an insane person #fred still being unhappy with his life despite having everything he SHOULD want basically handed to him #a marriage to what SHOULD be the perfect woman #who he claims to 'love' but when pressed on it its clear his love isnt romantic #and while he does obviously appreciate her he isnt happy in that relationship #and fred saying hes never been allowed to have what he really wants #it all just makes for a much better queer romance 😵‍💫#idk im crazy im so crazy #i have too many thoughts about this show #which is in reality very very silly and mostly just very lighthearted #but i really do think everything about fred as a character would hit a lot harder if he was gay #(and tbh that is still how i read him despite the romance lol)#and i do think the implausibility of their relationship ever working out lets him coast off of his excitement at reuniting with his #childhood friend #and play pretend with their relationship for the few days theyre together #idk i dont hate the romance i just find it a little over the top and not quite to my tastes #but good lord whatevers going on with fred and anthony.........#i cant sleep again so. auhauhhhh #i really need to draw the fred/anthony doujinshi that exists in my brain #thinking about them a few years on from the show makes me feel a little (very) crazy #mitty.txt
