I love how fucking ride-or-die the friendships in Dorohedoro are. Noi wakes up from being a pile of fucking mushrooms and her immediate concern is Shin. And while she had to essentially do smoke CPR to bring him back, they didn't cheapen the moment by using it as an excuse for a declaration of romantic love. Just relief, hugs, heartfelt thank-yous. Top notch shit.

oooooo episode 17/s2 ep5 really felt like a leap in quality animation-wise, i felt like especially last week’s episode was a bit heavier on the obvious 3d models than the first three eps. i really really hope this means mappa has figured out a solid middle path of working with the 3d models but making them look more like 2d. at least they feel more expressive and look better
