Also in ch8 his powers don't change for the text format (which was a grip I had), they remain the same, because he isn't altering reality as it is but as if it was STILL a comic, mh.

#I used to think that he was somewhat aware of the meta narrative but this changes it #if him using comic resources wasn't tied to him knowing it was a comic (thus not changing when it's now text) then why?#my second guess is that within the story it's STILL a comic. and Zack's idea of where the story is meant to go is tied to that #much to think about #Davy Jones

there's nothing more embarassing than being a social media lurker cause i've had tumblr for over 10 years but this year i learned why some side blogs got a lil icon while others don't

Just saw on insta this girl who made lots of plastic merch for a con but she has a really beginner art style (no volume, no shadows, flat colors, really rough anatomy) and ppl are eating her alive for this but my main issue is that she made A LOT of merch (15+ keychains, 10+ plastic stickers, 5+ standees...) and sadly all that plastic goes directly to a landfill, like idc about the art style as much as she should haven't done all that not knowing if it would really sell or not ....

#“we all start somewhere” true but there a big diff between just drawing and producing all that merch #she can get better but those keychains will not and they'll go directly to trash. and she won't get the money back either #like there's a diff between being nice to a beginner and letting her waste money and resources

When I was a teen the argument binary trans ppl had over NBs was that they were holding HRT and surgeries for those who actually needed it cause "they weren't truly trans and would reject it" and now it's that they're actually not trans cause they're not doing HRT or surgeries like idk maybe you just want to exclude them cause their experience is different

#it's always mixed with them having internalized transphobia and bioessentialist ideas as an argument to exclude them #as if they couldn't help it. it's just an opinion it's not like they can't educate themselves in those things

The same way Jhonny is next gen June, Jeff is next gen Peter in the sense that he has to be the most attractive character for everyone to fall for him but we're not seeing it due to style dissonance or smth
