Doobie Smokin' Fluttershy

So today we were lunching on the patio and a couple of bees were very interested in my Pepsi. Since it was diet and therefore Not Good For Bees, I was preventing them from getting into the can. So they landed on my hand and head-butted my knuckles, exactly like the cats do when they think I have treats. We went inside and made wee dish of sugar water and I carefully deposited the ladies on the side of the dish, whereupon they daintily chugged that shit down like frat boys at a kegger. Well, being bees, those ladies went back to tell their friends. So soon there were more bees. And they were HUNGRY. Soon the first dish was drained. Then the second. I think the warm weather means the bees can’t really bed down for winter yet, but very few flowers are blooming in mid-November. I remember seeing a post over the summer about making a bee waterer by putting “stepping stones” in the liquid to keep them from bumbling in and getting their wings wet. And by the time I found something to use for that, they’d drained another two dishes. So now, um, here we are. I present: THE BEEZENING.

Okay I’ll just write this one down, because I’m a bit too lazy to draw it on the whiteboard. Anyways lets see.

The bunch of you who have been following this blog for years now (you go guys) might be familiar with Fauxsquared, mostly because he was the artist of the now dead (Tho’ there’s still a “in memory” archive blog) Trixie is Magic. Back in the day we used to have crossovers with eachothers ask blogs all the time. It was a riot. But as time came by we both lost interest in our pony blogs and that led to the Trixie is magic being deleted and LAD getting cancelled.

And that bring us to like a month or so ago when Faux and I started chatting again. Faux sorta needed an excuse to draw after one big art block and he just sorta, asked me if he could goof around with LAD for a bit. Since most of his blogs where gone and I havent been using this blog for like a year or so.

So that’s really what was up with this blog the last couple of days. Just 2 guys goofing around in a dead blog sorta just bringing back memories and such.

There’s not such thing as new mods, cause frankly this blog is still dead so why would we need a mod to begin with?

Last week, a barrier that cotained toxic fluids broke in Brazil taking these fluids to one of the most important rivers we have here (Rio Doce). It formed a toxic mud and took over cities nearby, destroying them and killing people. This mud contains metals such as mercury, lead, barium, copper, among others. It’s said there is mud enough to fulfill 20 thousand olympic pools. This river is now officially dead, forever. The whole ecosystem of the area is destroyed. Animals are dead and some species might be extint. The mud keeps going through the river’s course and it’s said it’s gonna get to the seacost, also destroying that area. Another barrier is starting to break and it is 5 times bigger than the first one, which means the damage will be bigger. Cities nearby, such as Governador Valadares, ran out of water system. Mariana, another city, is also going through a hard time. Other cities are said to be destroyed forever. The biggest problem of all is that Brazilian media won’t talk about it. This huge ambiental crime is under Vale’s responsability. Vale is a multinational private mining corporation and they have a huge power over media. Regular brazilian citizenships have no idea of how huge the situation is, as the media makes it seem like it was just a little accident. People are dying, people are suffering, a whole ecossystem is dead. This is the largest ambiental accident in the history of Brazil. We need help to show the world what our media don’t want our people to know.
