Silly neighbours listening to silly music + sleeping one hour less = knitting

I'm making a woolen blanket sewing together various squares. They are mostly from when my mother was learning crochet and they come in various colours (and shapes also - some of them are rectangles). I started sewing them together 5ish years ago already but lost interest. Now I'm back on it and determined to make it bigger.

I like cozy blankets and this needs to be huge, colorful, and not necessarily perfect. I bought some new yarn (purple, neon yellow, a shade of light blue, a shade of pink). I'm a beginner for the millionth time. I have been a beginner since the first time I've even knitted and never gotten better lol but I don't care. As much as the blanket is warm and cozy it doesn't need to be elaborate or consistent in style. I just want to knit it all away. I hope I will be able to learn more and make more things but for now I am knitting squares til my hands bleed 😂
