You definitely don’t need a reason to like something you like! Glad you enjoyed it. I actually wrote it a few years back in high school after a breakup, it’s evolved over a couple different versions over a number of years but I’m happy with how it turned out.

Not at all. I did. That’s interesting. So what made you want to post it now?

..what? I’m not Nick’s ex, we were just friends, sir. Oh I’m sorry, anything I can do to make it better for you?

Friends, huh? Do you want to hang out? I can bring some food.

If it isn’t my brother’s ex. Because it’s already been a long day and there is still more day to go.

Emotions

aren’t something to be feared, but a sign that you’re alive, and trying;

Numbness is a far far more dangerous thing.

My brother is more the music man between the two of us, but that doesn’t mean that I don’t appreciate a good poem. What inspired this, if I can ask?

I mean, I could try I guess. I’m not the best cook but if toast is your thing, I could do that. Or like… oven bacon or something.

That inspires enough confidence to try, let’s go for it. What if I help you follow a recipe? If all else fails, I’ll order something for both of us. 

Good, great, fucking awesome. My door is open. Yeah, I am. I lived off-campus for a few months when I first started. But, hey, this is easier and there’s no sense in paying rent on a place when this is free. You know I’m all about those Franklins. You should, there’s a suite right next to mine.

Hi Nate! Welcome, it’s so nice to meet you. I’ve had a few one-on-ones with Sir Nick for vocal coaching reasons. I’m not quite sure where to find him, but I just wanted to drop in to welcome you to the Sanctuary. If you need any help at all, I’m usually around.

I’ll keep all of that in mind. I’m sure it won’t take too long for me to find him, we’re pretty good at things like that. Thank you for the welcome, I appreciate it. I’m pretty excited about this opportunity, and so far I’m not disappointed.

Hunter Clarington, also Dom. It’s good to meet you, Nate. I don’t think I can point you to the direction of your matching face with now, but the dance studio might be a good place to start. I’m a resident. Are you also working with the dance team? 

Oh no, not at all. I’m not a dancer, Nick is the only one of us that’s qualified for that. I’m an author, and I’ll be teaching the core Dominant classes and looking for other places I might be able to help around here. I’ll head over there, you’re right. He’s either there or with Mason.
