Not only has he donated to anti LGBTQ politicians which most people know about, he has also written books targeted at a young adult age range that are meant to be allegories for transgenderism as a mental illness.
His story B-7 is blatantly transphobic and I do not believe the writer coming out after to say that was not his intention excuses the fact that this story contains major transphobic themes.
I was debating with myself if I should post it here or not cause there's a lot but I'ma take a crack at explaining my little idea.
Picture this: Charlie is around 100 years old give or take and she's curious about human stuff. It's the 1930s and she receives one of the first ever superhero comic books. She is fascinated by it and the character in it: Superman. Inspired by the comic books she reads, she realizes that she too holds great power and decides to try and be a hero.
Being a hero isn't easy and it changes her a lot after she's been diving into the thick of it for years. She sees the plight of not just the Pride Ring's sinners, but the plight of all people in Hell. Inspired by a bat-themed hero, she decides to use her influence and power as the Princess for philanthropic projects all over Hell, giving aid and improving life for everyone in Hell. And if anyone stands in the princess' way, they'll answer to the Hell Knight.
The Hell Knight is a knight themed hero to contrast Charlie's princess persona and because she needed some way to hide her identity and a knight helmet works pretty well. And yes, she wears a cape and flies.
In this AU, canon events still happen though now Charlie has a better reputation due to her outreach programs, is unpopular with some Overlords like the Vees, and Alastor is the Hell Knight's archnemesis (the Vees took up that position while he was away for 7 years).
And yes, Alastor would be fucking pissed that he's been working with/for his archnemesis when Charlie reveals her identity as the Hell Knight.
