Like… do Y'all realize that by stealing from stores you are not at all getting back at corporate? Like, not one damn person in corporate is affected by shoplifting. All corporate is gonna do is make up for the shrinkage by reducing the number of hours, the number of raises, and bonuses that employees at that store have to access to. It is neither illegal nor exploitation. All you are doing is putting retail workers out of a job because somehow, in your tiny mind, you thought that by shoplifting you were affecting anyone at corporate.

Graphic designer Richard Littler, the in-world mayor and real-world creator of the little dystopia, was inspired by his childhood in Manchester in the 1970′s, where he remembers being terrified by how the media blurred the lines between real and paranormal.
