The Winter Maw, 2026

a totally handmade, fully-functional marionette created for the annual "Winter Exquisite" gallery show (this year's chosen medium was puppetry) at the Forbes Library in Northampton, MA - if you're local, you can visit anytime between the 7th & the end of the month!

finally took some quality pics of my first custom I did in 2025! I wanna make it a tradition to customize a frankie doll each year and display them all together. this is my 3rd one so far ^_^

Like I feel like most of the criticism could've been avoided if Mattel was like, this is Barbie's new friend Brianna! She likes reading, and knitting, and she has autism!

To celebrate this spooky time of the year I gave the main 3 dolls of Monster High a new design with a more mature look (^-^)/

But. But I think I’ll take a three week hiatus on Burnt rubber smoke signals to focus on Skuld.

Anyway, it’s October. Skuld’s birthday is November 1st. Taking suggestions for photoshoots!

The white resin skull has an ink wash under the clear resin, but that’s the only faceup. See those transparent ears?

Emulating the Spooky Trails Rabbids, I gave her dark shadows around her eyes as well as a faux glow to her pupils. Although she is a stylised version of a Rabbid, I couldn't resist giving her their silly little buck teeth, albeit in a much more stylish way.

a cute re-style to fearbook Venus, gave her afro puffs and adorned them with flowers so shes like a cute lil topiary, i braided a couple face framing pieces and added beads at the end
