Helios
Titan of the Sun
Scorching son of Hyperion.
The titan who drifts among the stars like a fish in the ocean.
Eyes all over his body make it effortless for him to watch over everyone. His many limbs are used to embrace himself in times of loneliness for who would understand the solitude of the sun that moves above everyone and everything?
Nobody knows what makes the back of his head erupt in the bright flames but any time it happens people can swear they feel the days becoming warmer.
His design was based around cuddlefish, butterfly, flower and the way children draw a sun ☀️.
It's pride month everybody!!!
Is there something specific you would like to see at this time of the year?
Pirithous is an asshole, but I'd give him props for seeing Persephone and saying 'yes, I want that bad lady.'
What's even funnier was that the myth suggests he was probably down bad for her even before seeing her.
It was also my personal headcanon that he took Theseus with him for moral support and so Theseus could maybe hype him up hahaha

New chapter of "The Puppy & the Ewe" is out.
I hope you'll enjoy the family drama
Persephone
The queen of the underworld
Persephone was partly based on a fruit bat so she would feel natural both in and out of her domain. In mythology she herself never used any plant-based abilities so I decided to connect her to nature by referencing fauna.
When first taken to the underworld she was terrified and confused (Hades thought she was informed of everything) but once Hades realised how she wasn't informed of anything he offered to take her back since he didn't want to force her to stay with him. She loves him and she loves her mother so she gladly accepted the deal to share her time between the land of living and the land of the dead.
She also possesses more humanoid shape which explains people in some myths acknowledging her beauty or expressing physical attraction.
Epithet "little goddess" doesn't come from her being small in general but small in comparison to her husband.
The reason why pomegranate tied her to the underworld is because Hades grew it out of himself offering her a chance to tie their fates together.
Her real eye is on top of her head. The "black ones" are fake eyes (similarly to pandas or killer whales having fake spots pretending to be eyes)
One day I should make the height chart for my gods.
But then I would have to probably stay consistent with it...
A great battle between my nitpicking and laziness, let's see who'll win
WIP :3
I'm still trying to figure out some details about his design but I like how he's turning out
Hestia
The Goddess of Hearth and Home
She is a gentle goddess that embodies the care for family and household. It might be shocking to some but hearth isn't supposed to mean a literal fireplace, it is simply a way to symbolise the importance of family (the same way fire protects, helps with cooking, offers light and keeps family close)
(As an example you can check many creatures of Slavic mythology that are meant to embody elements of hearth)
She is partly a sheep since sheep are capable of providing many important elements to household (milk, wool, meat, leather etc). She herself is a herbivore but the snakes on the back of her neck are carnivorous (they embody other important elements like hunt and eliminating pests)
The lack of eyes on her head represents "blind trust" that people need when inviting people to their home. Her only way to look at someone is when she isn't holding anything (when she is "defenceless")
She is a twin sister of Hades. As the first born children of generation meant to take over the earth after titans they embody life. Hades is the flora and Hestia is the fauna. Demeter was born a nature goddess because at that time Hestia and Hades were already devoured by their father.
She is a goddess meant to create, provide and offer but as a virgin goddess she didn't have anyone to provide to, so she created the ever-hungry satyrs who she could feed and spoil as much as she wants.
Also special thanks to @miles-crow for letting me borrow their precious Censorsheep ❤️❤️❤️

I was thinking about drawing some short comics or a series of illustrations with my gods. There are at least a few stories that I have plans for but I was wondering if you have something specific you would like to see
So, out of all the characters you have drawn so far (Greek mythology or Epic), who is the hardest to draw? And who is the easiest?
The easiest is Hephaestus and that's without any competition. I enjoy drawing him in my free time with how simple he is for me to doodle (I even made a small comic of him and Dionysus but I want to redraw it)
(Persefone is also quite easy but she is still harder than Hephaestus)
And the hardest one that I posted is most likely Athena but the hardest that I drew is Zeus that I'm currently working on.
Would anyone be interested if I posted some scraped ideas from "Sing, O Muse, of Agony"?
There were many changes made before the first chapters were posted but I still kept some early sketches and unfinished scenes.
What's your inspiration for your designs of the Greek gods? :)
Oh? Interesting question.
Hmmm 🤔
It is a mix of a few things actually, but my main idea was to have them make sense as most of those gods and beings were older than people. (Only those that are born after creation of people are more "human-like")
So for example I like to think how they would function without often associated tools. (I want them to have more "natural" connection to their domain)
And then I will usually spiral into a series of random questions that I would ask myself which would lead me to some ideas for a design.
(forgive me my bad writing 😅)
My main inspirations come from mythology itself by playing around with some themes, stories and epithets. (I love expanding on some details or filling the gaps)
I was also a big fan of fantasy since I was a baby (especially games like "Might & Magic: Heroes"(I still adore the games and creature design) or books like Witcher)
Also most of the time the lore comes first and only then I'm thinking about a design.(I'm trying to put together a coherent lore for at least the main Olympians.)
I hope it was helpful for you, but if not you can ask again and I'll try to find a better way to answer 😅
P.S: At least 10% of my ideas come from some bad puns or my dark humour.
Silly Hades comic
Let's just say he isn't the biggest fan of people being resurrected without permission hahaha

Hello! I like your abstract design of Athena, and I was wondering if you have others?
Hi! :D
I'm happy you like my Athena
Most of the gods that I designed so far have something abstract/uncanny about them.(Like for example Hephaestus that I posted yesterday)
But if you are interested in more "eldritch" designs, you can check my drawings of Charon
Also let me offer you this unfinished sketch of Hades :3
I hope you'll like it as well ❤️
Hephaestus
The God of Craft and Fire
Hephaestus is a golem-like being that is fated to always keep repairing his eternally falling apart body.
His whole body used to be on fire (The reason why Hera threw him wasn't out of malice but an accident caused by her burning herself). He separated his head from the rest of his body so now only it remains burning while now he can touch others without causing pain.
His reunion with Hera let them clear the misunderstanding that made him think she didn't want him. Hera desperately wanting to apologise but also to offer care for her son, suggested the marriage to Aphrodite. (Those two were happily married for a few years)
He is protective of Ares and has a good relationship with Dionysius.
