So I was thinking... What if Dark Lord didn't recognize Chosen in this episode?

Their only interaction was when TDL punched TCO in the beginning, after TCO asked for help (he reached out to TDL)

And that was their only interaction after not seeing each other for so long? I know that TDL probably hates TCO now, but that means TDL would probably do something else than punch him once and forget about him later

We know that TCO was renamed to "No One" by Vic, and TDL still remembers him as "The Chosen One". That might be why TDL didn't recognize him

And yes, TDL punched TCO (I'm still gonna be calling him TCO, I ain't calling my baby No One) when they got to the Rocket corp, but what if he didn't punch TCO because he remembers that TCO "betrayed" him, but because instead of TCO, his old friend, all he saw was a black stick figure captured by Vic, who reached out to TDL which angered him?

The theory is: TDL might've not recognized TCO this episode, only seeing a stick named "No One", and TDL punched him because that stick reached out to him for help (and obviously, TDL wouldn't help even if he could)

New/changed designs jumpscare... (How I feel about having incosistent desgins because I haven't made a design line up yet so it means I am free)

TDL could never choose to love TCO but he would. If his code allowed it. He was someone who stood by his side and my god did they have fun. There's nowhere else to go, not when they're wanted criminals, not when they're hated netwide. It was always just TCO. The very thing he was created to kill.

He loved him because of how entertaining he was, how much fun he brought and most importantly: brought him into a life that meant more than serving Alan.

Right after using all but one of his powers to completely eviscerate the first ViraBot, he attacks Dark... and he's STILL only using CQC and his fire and eye beams, like he always does.

He ends up clinging to the front of Agent's motorcycle, both of them staring at each other with less than ten feet between them. One use of the laser eyes would have decapitated him, but Chosen refuses - instead making the iceberg to just try and scare the mercenaries off.

It takes a torture session from Victim before he starts really fighting back as hard as he can and incinerating his clones.

And, with the release of Beta... we now know that Chosen started having his second thoughts about his rampages after just a month, but it took seven years and the creation of a superweapon by Dark for him to finally put his foot down and speak up. He swallowed his negative feelings and went along with everything for seven years just to avoid having a confrontation with his only friend.

I really think the trauma of those four years being restricted and depowered did something to his head. He's the most powerful being in this setting, and yet he seems to be actively denying himself any agency. Maybe because it's so familiar to be denied agency and to not be able to use his powers to their full extent.
