"Men are from Mars, and women are from Venus!"
Probably every man and woman's excuse to cope with things they can't understand about each other. IMHO, I think men are very simple. They don't think or do beyond what is necessary.
For instance, the men in my life, they love being pampered. They thrive on the affection and pampering they get.
Tank for instance, likes hanging out with the guys a lot more. Why? For one, he’s a guy himself. And I don’t really need to elaborate to you ladies about ‘The Guys and their ‘BROmance’.” Two, they do their own thing. My husband can’t stop talking about how well behaved Tank is when I’m away. As opposed to the ‘sugar-laden-3yr-old’ once I’m home.
Boys don’t gossip. You might disagree. But they don’t. Do they exchange information about the people not present around them at that very moment? Yes. Is that gossip? Hell No. Tank likes the simplicity and practicality they emit.
As for Tank, the girls shower him with the occasional AWWWWs, How Cute!, He’s so sweet et al, along with the attention, kisses and chatter and he loves it, and he's picked a few things from the girls too. The innocent eyes, the cute expressions, the vulnerable ‘puppy-dog’ look. OMG, Tank's such a drama queen. But in his defence, he is a puppy and definitely a dog.
He waits for my maid to wake him up, pat him, kiss him and shower him with her attention every afternoon. And this he doesn't even deserve since all he does is increase her work! She cleans after him, lectures my husband on when to feed him and how much. She makes sure that he isn't disturbed or ignored while I am not there.
Tank is such a guy. And he’s got his fair share of ladies.
He keeps eyeing my ‘Gloria’. My little grey and pink ‘Madagascar’ hippo, knows he can’t have her and so he reaches out for her only when I’m not around. Tank is a calm little Cane Corso with a soul of a notorious Jack Russell Terrier.
He quietly climbs onto our bed, gets her off the bed's headboard and waltz into the living room with her between his teeth, trying to showing off.
And when I do come around he’d try and say, “It wasn’t me” OMG such a guy!
I love the men in my life. They drive me up the wall and settle my nerves at the same time.
