something i wish people would remember is that it's possible to want to lose weight without personally hating fat people. like. it's possible to respect one person's choice while making a different choice for yourself. wild i know but it's true i promise

it's also possible to lose weight without having an eating disorder. and honestly the constant insistence that people who wish to lose or have lost weight have something wrong with them (mental illness, fatphobia, etc) is so creepy. the whole point is to mind our own buisiness about what people want to do with their own bodies and that goes both ways. whatever your movement is, if it's less about equal respect for everyone and more about changing which group it's socially acceptable to shit on, you're always going to be part of the problem rather than the solution.
