It didnt take him long to accept his fate of being "Doot" since he himself wrote it on accident. It started as a joke amongst his peers and just kinda stuck after a bit, especially once he became very recognizable due to the hair incident (TM)

Most times he introduces himself as Dr. Tetrodot but otherwise to ease tension he'll give the nickname (Usual exceptions though of formality and such) He tries to keep a serious face all the time, but it gets a little hard when he looks how he does and has a silly nickname XD

#his hair was a normal colour at one point but you blow up oNE POTION- he's lucky his eyebrows didnt get coloured too #also tumblr plz i am spelling colour correctly #i am CANADIAN #he tried hiding his hair for a long time as he's horrrrribly vain #he will cry if he ruins a nice shirt or jacket #had to accept it after a while and at this point its how he networks #a lot of docs would look the same in a crowded room for the untrained eye #hence he tries looking fancy

Yes actually!

Tetrodot Apothecary, which is effectively his name, just everyone know's him a his nickname Doot due to an unfortunate (for him) but hilarious misspelling of his own name due to how he writes.

One day I will make a depiction of it on tiktok as its way funnier to show how he writes that way (cursive but a lot of circles that he goes back to add lines to for things like d, b, and t, which if he's very tired or forgets makes his notes unreadable by folks who dont know he does this)
