You can call me Divinity or Haven, whichever you prefer! I’m a hobbyist, self taught artist. I spend most of my time designing new characters and continuing to expand my massive Multicrossover story through world building. Though my favorite thing to do is design characters and then never draw them again, because I make them too complex.
You’ll mainly see art of my ocs from my original Multicrossover series, Chronicles of Light. Which is eternally in WIP as I develop more for it. This series and its core characters have been developed gradually over the last 10-12 years, between all my schooling and real life. Though the very basic ideas and main character were first developed when I was 5 years old.
Chronicles of Light takes my original world and characters and connects them to various other series, utilizing the multiverse theory. So you’ll likely see my ocs alongside some canon characters. Thanks to spending well over 10 years developing this series and the ideas of how characters meet and travel to each other’s worlds and universes, there is a rather seamless and realistic way the storyline all connects. So sit back and enjoy the information and stories of my characters and sometimes their wacky antics.

Okay but this is literally me. Except I’m trying all that I can to restrain my desire to drown everyone in the complex lore of my ocs and Chronicles of Light.
Literally me and @garnets-and-dragons with our goober ocs. Garnet and Lumera would be best buddies for sure.
You can tell when I hyperfixate over a specific original character because then I just post a shit ton about them. Or I draw pages of sketches and concepts.
Pleaseee for the love of god and all that is holy. Ignore my piss poor attempt at drawing The Skysplitter and General Hoolay, I gave up halfway through because it was so hard. I’m working on a large crossover project between my original characters/content and HSR. A specific idea was for Liberty to help Feixiao beat the fuck out of Hoolay. Because there is something so cool about the big tough bad guy getting their ass beat by a larger good guy who is tired of them beating up “the little guy”.
Also Liberty, like all my Lumerian ocs, hate politicking and having to deal with self-important politicians and dignitaries that think they know what’s best for others (when really it’s just for their own self interests). When it comes to formal functions Liberty will try to disappear into the corner of the ballroom as much as she can, god bless any political figurehead who goes out of their way to bother her. She is far less tolerate and nice than Lumera.
The rest of the art is really just more expression practice and anatomy practice. I enjoyed drawing Liberty and I look forward to drawing her more in the future.

“Wherever the banner of Lumeria waves, Freedom shall ring out for all to hear.” ~ Liberty
BACKSTORY
Born to a gryphon and a dragon in The City of Light, Liberty was a rather unique case of hybridization. Despite being beloved by her family, the physical traits of her hybridization was a source of bullying for her when she started schooling. A tail too short, wings that were too mall for her body style, and a head just a hare too big. All insults she heard far too often, but she was never concerned with them as her mother always told her she was perfect and her father told her she was destined for greatness. Her parents had learned early on that she was a Light Elemental, however, given the state of Lumeria during Liberty’s childhood and the instability of the Light Warriors’ rule, this finding was kept a closely guarded secret. It was only after Lumera’s ascension to the throne that this information was made public.
Liberty’s father was a renowned Commanding Officer of a Lumerian vessel during her childhood and so deployments were something that occurred quite often. For this reason, he was not around as often as he wished he could. Liberty would come to understand this to be a part of his duty to his nation and his people and so never resented him for it; in fact, she revered him. She saw him as a hero, a role model, and something she wanted to be when she grew up. Whenever the young hatchling was asked who her hero was, she would answer her father and how she desired to be a Naval Officer when she was old enough. One day, during a particularly difficult mission, her father suffered a critical injury which resulted in mandatory medical discharge from the military. Seeing her father so broken up over what had occurred would stoke the flames in the young dragon’s heart, solidifying the dream of becoming a Lumerian soldier; though this time it was to continue her father’s brilliant legacy.
To attain this goal Liberty became focused on training and schooling, completing all required work, in order to meet the criteria to enlist in the Lumerian military. Over the years she would be trained in combat, weapon handling, and elemental talent by his father and didactic learning was assisted greatly by her mother. Liberty was naturally gifted at physical combat, and her father had taught her to use her physical traits as part of her natural prowess. That “stunted tail”, use it like a mace and beat your enemies into submission. Those “short wings” they poked fun of, use their bulk and spurs to slash and stab. Your “big head” just so happens to have a phenomenal bite force, so use it to crush evil between your jaws. Her father’s intensive training and words of encouragement strengthened her resolve and confidence to such a degree, the Liberty’s success skyrocketed after that. She surpassed every expectation her parents set out for her to meet, so much so, that her father had to move on to combat weapon training. It was also during this time that Liberty discovered her talents as a multi-element wielder. First the element of Fire came to her, then Earth, then Sound. It became evident at this time that she truly was “destined for greatness.”
Following the return of Queen Lumera to the throne, after the burning of Vargone by The Shade, Liberty enlisted in the military. She was practically fully prepared for all the military would throw at her, shooting past all her peers and completing tasks with high merits; solidifying herself as a Savant. Those anatomical traits that said peers had once admonished her for were now her greatest strengths and the secret to her mighty success. During her time in basic training Liberty, who once had her heart dead set on The Naval Corps, had since discovered The Terra Corp and found a taste for it. After all, it was what fit her style of combat best. She was not gifted with flight like those destined for The Aerial Corps, nor was she blessed for aquatic combat like those gunning for The Naval Corps. The Terra Corps had answered her in a way no other branch had and it’s where she felt her heart was meant to be.
Upon completion of her basic training, the time came for Placement Testing; and while Liberty excelled in all tests specified for The Terra Corps, she was aghast to find her results had placed her in The Naval Corps. Unbeknownst to her at the time her father, with his plethora of connections, had pulled strings to get her in the Navy; though this wouldn’t get very far. While Liberty was internally panicking, a renowned Terra Corps General came up to her and personally picked her for placement in his respective branch. He had witnessed her performance and knew where her talents and abilities would shine their brightest. Liberty happily accepted, something that would become a point of contention between her and her father for years after.
In the Terra Corps, Liberty would put her all into every aspect of her work and was one of the most dedicated to the call of duty. This was reflected in how quickly she rose in the ranks and excelled in missions. Eventually, she was approached with the opportunity to further her career by becoming an Officer and she practically jumped at the chance. Liberty would go on to attend Lumeria’s prestigious College of Combat and Warfare where she learned to command soldiers and strategize battle plans. During this important period of her life Liberty began pursuing training in her light element, which she had minimal prior work with; becoming something of a late bloomer regarding that skill. This would take her to Selvtoba and Jin Xin, two of the few remaining Light Elementals in Lumeria, who would go on to take her under their “wings” and train her much as they had trained Lumera before her. In fact, it was this connection that would lead Liberty to officially meet with said Commander in Chief herself.
Liberty continued to surpass all expectations and achieved greatness in the War College, graduating with high marks. This was the springboard where she would soar up to the rank of General in the Terra Corps; becoming the renowned and highly respected commander she is now. Due to her impressive resume, sheer natural talent, and success as a Terra Corps General she is now a close associate of Lumera Lightstar herself and is often looked up for assistance in developing battle plans and strategies.
I'm glad to finally have this damn ref sheet out. Holy snot this has been hanging around for some time, I just never had a backstory for Liberty. She's had a Toyhouse account for 2 years now, and I've had an idea for her as a character since 2019. Yet, I NEVER had a backstory for her. So I was shitting myself trying to come up with one in time to release her reference.
The funny part is that I listened to an animation of Grace from Project Hail Mary to the song "In the Navy" by Village People. I was thinking how funny it would be if Liberty were initially drafted into the Navy and then bam, her backstory just evolved from there. I wanted her to have a complicated relationship with her dad over the differences in their branches. I did also think, how would Liberty even get into the Navy in the first place, her body style doesn't suit that line of work. Then thought "ahhh yes, Nepotism", though Liberty's dad's attempts were shot down just as quick.
I would like to talk about how much I just adore this design. When I first made it, I wasn't too proud of it because of the lack of proper proportions regarding her head and tail to her body. However, it actually grew on me for this reason. She is a hybrid between and gryphon and dragon so she is supposed to be "awkward" that's the hybrid vigor aspect and I think it just fits her as a ground combatant better. I have a post in the works that shows my thinking and design process in creating this character. I hope to have it posted soon.
Headcanons for Boothill and Sunny because I did not have time to draw them.
Sunny/Sunrise: Demigirl - Bisexual
Boothill: Unlabeled Male - Bisexual
-Boothill has always been an interesting case for me in terms of gender identity. I have always viewed him as feeling and identifying male and really that’s it. I’ve never had a particular idea of if that’s cisgender male, transgender male, gender fluid, or of the non-binary spectrum. I’ve never had a specific label in mind for him other than “he just feels like and so identifies male”. So, I don’t feel there is a specific label for Boothill’s gender or how he feels about it. So really I think that means he’s Unlabeled.
-Now I think that’s important because there are plenty of people out there that have an experience with their gender identity that is hard to assign a label to. Or people just don’t feel the desire to label it. They just experience their gender the way they do and it’s unique to them. They never felt the need to identify with a specific label. I honestly feel like that’s Boothill to me, his experience with his gender is completely unique to him and he doesn’t have strong feelings other than he knows he’s a guy. And hey that’s still super fucking valid too, you don’t have to have a label to be valid. You don’t have to have a label to have an experience. That’s a part of your life story and it’s just as fucking important as everyone else’s.
(I personally headcanon Rappa as aro/ace and Autistic. She doesn’t have any romantic or sexual attraction to anyone really and is fine with just maintaining friendships. She doesn’t have to be in a relationship with anyone to feel happy or fulfilled or valid. She’s just like my brother and I for real. I think that’s important representation because there is still so much out there that makes you feel you have to be in a relationship or sexual partnership to feel whole or fulfilled. I’ve been told some times I would be lonely without someone. But really I’m fine single. I think Rappa is just the same. Preferring friendship and adventure.)
*Lumera: Cisgender Grey-romantic/Asexual
Okay come on guys. She’s my flagship oc and I’ve had her since I was 5 years old. Of course she’s the same as me. Lumera would only very rarely feel romantic attraction towards another individual, it’s been far and few between.
*Silhouette: Unlabeled Fem Aromantic/Asexual
Can you tell I project a lot of myself onto my most treasured original characters? Silhouette has been around for a long long time as an oc and so I project some aspects of myself onto her. I’ve always felt that being AroAce was perfect for her and her character. Like Rappa she has never felt the need for a relationship and really likes friendship and hanging out with her special forces team for company. Silhouette identifies female, but I wouldn’t exactly say she is cisgender but also not really transgender either. She’s a transformer and they have no concept of gender because that’s a human made concept. So for her she feels female so she identifies as female.
——————————————————————-
Okay story time kids buckle up. Asexual and Aromantic and esp Aro/Ace representation is very very important to me personally. Not just because I’m an Grey/Ace myself. It’s because I existed in online spaces in the mid to late 2010’s and that was when Ace Discourse was very big. I was told that I wasn’t allowed in LGBTQ spaces and not welcome at pride. It was because asexuals “didn’t face enough oppression” was the reason I was given. They said I was valid but not as a member of the LGBTQ. I saw an, at the time, notable person in the LGBTQ art community tell someone flat out that we asexuals should go make our own community and take the demisexuals, pansexuals, and bisexuals (het passing) with us. This person also believed that bisexuals loving the opposite gender were just trying to feel “special” and were choosing to be that way. When we had spent years telling the world sexuality was not a choice mind you.
I wish I could say that did not do damage to me but it did. It hurt so much that I couldn’t sleep that night because I thought I wasn’t “right or LGBTQ enough”. I had an identity crisis and even tried to convince myself that I was at least pansexual because “I didn’t fit in enough as an ace”. I didn’t think until just now about how much ace discourse affected me even when I was nowhere near it. I know asexuals are fully valid, always have been, and that people like that person are gatekeeping assholes. But the sting of being told I don’t belong hurt a lot back then? I’ve never talked about how much it did. I felt like I didn’t belong anywhere, because the heterosexuals are for the heterosexuals and if the LGBTQ didn’t want asexuals, where would I feel comfortable??? Of course this was over a decade ago this isn’t the same online space as back then. And that makes me so happy.
That is why aromantic and asexual representation is so important to me, because there were people who told me I was just “being special” that I “should go somewhere else”. Unfortunately, I think maybe those people are still that way…but I pray not. My brother is also asexual so I think about how those words would have made him feel wrong for just being who he is…and that infuriates me. I’ve never experienced oppression like other groups have so I’m not trying to make it sound like my life experience was as bad as that. But we also should not play oppression Olympics because ALL experiences are valid. I’ve had to teach myself that, because I’ve never felt that what I felt was enough to speak on. But so many other aces have been hurt by that age old rhetoric and still today asexuals and aromantics are called “sociopaths” because not wanting sex or romance is seen as not feeling at all???
But I’m just glad that people don’t speak that way anymore. As I’ve said, I know asexuals and aromantics have always been a part of the community, it’s just gatekeeping assholes, but I’m so glad that nowadays those people don’t share their opinions anymore. I will always be happy to be who I am and I will always be happy being asexual and I will always take pride in that aspect of myself.
New markings vs old markings. I’m much happier with the markings now. The markings on the original were never something I felt pleased with. The style is based off the beautiful golds of Mel Medarda and I wanted that effect of warm gold that looks embedded into the character. I just couldn’t get the reflective effect down for it, so I settled to make them look alive with blurring tones over it; which had minimal effect.
However, recently I saw a YouTuber Artist and saw some refs they did for a character and how they simplistically shade the golds for them. I had an epiphany and realized how I could get at least some Mel Medarda like effect down and rushed to try it. I absolutely love the look of it now compared to before and I feel it reflects my vision and the effect I wanted in a far better way.

"Wherever the banner of Lumeria stands, Freedom shall ring out for all to hear!" - Liberty
The Official Lumerian Flag for Flag Day, being carried by the big gal herself; General Liberty.
————————————————————-
GUYS HOLY SHIT. I’m so fucking proud of this. The fucking anatomy and the talons/feet holy smokes. The digits of the forelimbs came out so well I’m literally crying. This is awesome!!! I’m so happy with this art piece!!!
(My fucking scanner died so y'all get this shit ass picture instead <:'( . I'm sorry.)
AHHHHHH I LOVE THIS SOOOO MUCH!! Look at the anatomy of the digits. Especially the ones holding the flag pole!! I’ve never been good with hands of any kind, including dragon paws that weren’t flat to the ground. So this is a little ground breaking for me, I’m starting to make more progress. I enjoyed drawing every piece of this art, but I most enjoyed the forelimbs and sculpting out the musculature.
I just love the composition! The fierce and stoic appearance of Liberty and how she confidently holds her nations flag high. Proud to show the colors of Lumerian Holy Nation for all to see. The Crest of Light is a divine symbol and so for many on the field of battle it is a beacon that signals the end of darkness, the ushering of the coming dawn. It represents an end to strife and freedom from fear and evil.
————————————————————-
Though one complaint of mine is that her limb holding the flag pole is not as muscular as it is presented to be canonically on her ref sheet. But honestly, I was so scared of messing up the posing of the limb so I didn’t fuck around with the anatomy there as much. The other is that I didn’t get the pose of the wrist as well as I imagined it and only noted once inking was done. She’s a Terra Corp General, and a high ranked one at that, so she is heavily muscled. Maybe going back to this, if I ever make it digital, I’ll define the muscles more. In retrospect I also wish I made the tail less chunky looking ughhhhh…I wish I could have no complaints about my art ever. I am my own worst critic.
In case yall wanted to know how big my dragons are. Granted Lib is in a sitting-ish position, so she would be larger comparatively when upright.
Liberty stands at a strong 27 ft tall.
Boothill is 6’0’’-6’1”. Sunny is 5’4”.
Jesus Liberty is so fucking huge holy schmoly. She could literally crush Sunny like a grape with one paw.

MY SIMP WALL SO FAR!! Must collect them ALLLLLL!!!!! I’m actually disappointed that the image of Boothill on top of that tower in 2.2 of Penacony wasn’t an option to add, because he was fine af in that image
Also I’m upset that his white day art isn’t an option either. Hopefully they’ll add more options with each update, I WILL have this wall nothing but Boothill if it kills me.
lol Boots is the only character I really care about. He’s the only reason I come back to HSR once in a while so of course he’s like the only one I’ve built lol
Just pretend Stelle is Sunny pleaseeeeeee XC
Sunny and the Rangers plus Feixaio because that’s my wife

Some more sketches of my ocs that I plan to digitalize here soon…..hopefully
The first is a redraw of an old as fuck image of Nea from back in 2013. So I’m excited to make this digital and compare the final product to the old one. That will be a nice way to look back on how far I have come.
The second image is Alutrion. I have his voice claim to be Neil Ellice, who voices Soap in Call of Duty. I don’t play the game I just wanted an aggressive Scottish accent for Alutrion. But there is a line where Soap screams “LETS FUCKING GO” and I heard it and thought, yep that’s definitely Alutrion on his way to kick Shade ass.
This is using an old design for her. But it was more just expression practice. This was back when I was just stating to dip into REALLY making my characters expressive. So it’s not reflective of the quality of my work now. But it explains why my characters are all so gruff or pissed/stoic in their official headshots. I mean I feel my characters are at their most expressive when angry or in high emotional states. I used to draw them all with a basic expression but now I just feel there is so much life to them. It’s also great practice for facial anatomy.
