I need to be put down like an unloved dog. Some stray you found on the side of the road and took to the vet to euthanize. No ceremony, crying or holding. Just the buzzing of fluorescent lights and the cool of the metal table underneath me. A cold prick from a gloved hand and the slow fading of my life.
