He'd been fine in the previous event, but this was a much bigger area… the Followers might be there.

He'd disguised himself as a Sylveon- it'd been a while since he's used an illusion that dramatic, and he realized that he'd unconsciously incorporated some of Angel’s features into the disguise. He was still unusual-looking- most Sylveons had white pelts, not black, and their eyes didn't glow.

He was worried that making the mask look like his crown would be too obvious of a giveaway, but he didn't have any other ideas.

He'd come alone, although Galic, Cobalt and Templar said they might join later.

Solaris' refs:

“Hello friend! You've been invited to this year's Mask Festival! The event takes place at Kokochiyoi Village, the largest village in Kitakami! Come join us for food, games, fireworks, and of course-”

Oh? Halfway through the letter, the handwriting changes.

“Hello there!! It's me, Kenji! Aya really wanted me to invite some of her friends to the festival this year, so I thought I'd send you an official invitation! I also made you a couple masks with the help of a close family friend! If you're a feral or anthro, wearing them'll give you a gijinka form! Don't worry- you won't actually turn into one! It's just an illusion that only works on the villagers, so they won't freak out when they see you. If you'd like to bring a different mask but still want the illusion powers, just take the bells off the masks and onto your own!

Aya, me, and my husbands all hope to see you soon!”

Cobalt: Huh. Sounds neat.

Solaris: But what if…they are there.

Templar: It's a possibility, but I don't think they'd recognize you if you were disguised.

Solaris: …I’m not really ready to disguise myself as a human, after…

A loud bang flickered through the Giratina’s mind, but he quickly focused on something else.

Solaris: Besides, I don't need any bells to disguise myself as something else. If they're weirded out by a talking Pokemon, that's their problem.

Templar: But you're not going as a Giratina, right?

Solaris: Of course not. I'll just use my normal disguise.

Templar: And when was the last time you used your Sylveon illusion?

Solaris: …it's been a while, but I should still be able to manage you. You three are the ones that would struggle.

Angel: Wait, am I not coming?

Solaris: No, if a certain group is there, it wouldn't be safe for you.

Galic: But we'll come along! Once we figure out our illusions!...which will probably make us a little late.

Cobalt: It shouldn't be too hard…it hasn't been more than two centuries, after all. I think.

Galic: Wait a minute, there's only two masks! Does that mean only two of us are allowed to go?!

Templar: Well, technically there's four bells, so it would be possible for four to all be disguised, if they wanted to.

Solaris: These wouldn't fit me anyway- they're the wrong shape, and too small.

Galic: Well, ARCEUS tell me where they make masks for seven-foot-tall cats.

Templar: I've got no idea, ask someone else.

Solaris: I'm just going to use an illusion.

I decided to doodle Ultraviolet from @distortionmewtwo and Angel meeting.

I'm not really sure what UV would think of Angel, but she would be ECSTATIC to meet another Pokemon raised by a Giratina.

“Hmm…one of my favorite days…”

The Eevee thought on this for a moment before reaching a decision.

“Probably when I got this necklace!” She tapped the stone around her neck, which closely resembled the gemstone on Solaris’ crown.

“Me and Dad had been looking around the Legend's Realm when I found it! Apparently there are a bunch of gemstones there, since Templar likes making them, and I found this one which looked like Dad’s gem! I asked if he could make it into a necklace, so he used antimatter to poke a hole in it and then Templar made a chain for it!
