Good Fortune Spell!
🕯🍃🔮💸🙏🏻
I crafted this spell today and wanted to share with my fellow witches! I’ve been really going through it with money and lack there of, so here’s this! (Feel free to change anything to suit your practices and whatever works for you)
Supplies:
a candle (and color or size, just wide enough to put your herbs on top)
The World tarot card, or any card that resembles luck and fortune
incense of your choice
a dollar bill
chamomile and lemongrass
pyrite and citrine crystals
sage, or whatever you use to cleanse your space
bowl of water
The Setup:
Place your candle in a holder, or on a safe surface. Place your tarot card beneath the candle, and the dollar bill on top of the card, with the pyrite and citrine on either side of it.
The Steps:
cleanse your area and ground your energy, as you would before any spell or ritual
invite the elements or your deities (whatever you practice) into your space
light your candle, then light your incense with the flame of the candle. always notice the connections, even between the small things.
sprinkle your herbs into the melted wax of the candle, saying aloud, “chamomile and lemongrass for good luck and cleansing.” be careful to not burn yourself and to not let the flame get too out of control!
begin to focus your intent on the dollar. visualize what you want your life to be like, and focus on that. feel the happiness and contentment it brings you, like it’s already yours!
when you feel ready, place your fingertips on your crystals and begin to chant, (you can also make up your own chant to suit your practice!)
“By earth, wind, fire, and sea,
Good fortune and prosperity be brought to me.
By earth, wind, fire, and sea,
It is my will, so shall it be.”
Say this 3 times.
this might sound crazy, but after your chant, pick up your dollar bill and burn a corner of it with the flame of your candle to charge it with the element of fire, my personal favorite element for charging spells! blow out the flame quickly to not burn more than the corner. focus on the smoke and imagine all your wishes being sent to the sky. the universe is here for you, and she will take care of you. believe that!
dip the burnt corner in your bowl of water (if you feel it is necessary).
place the dollar back on top of the card with the crystals on either side of it, and let the crystals charge it overnight. then, carry the dollar with you wherever you go! in your wallet, purse, pocket, or even make a sachet with some herbs and small crystals and your dollar to carry around!
And there you have it!
Blessed be. 🌙
☀ Positive Energy- Spell Jar ☀
i was asked to make a spell jar for something positive/happy so here it is! a little something to protect you from negative energy, repel it, and cleanse your energy while replacing it with a lighter, positive one.
🌟Ingredients (from bottom to top):🌟
sea salt
citrus peel (I used orange to signify the sun)
rosemary (bright and assertive, often used in sage bundles to cleanse a home)
eucalyptus (healing, fresh energy, protection)
wormwood (protection, sends negativity back to the sender)
vervain (cleansing, spaces and auras, as well as stagnant energies)
juniper berries (protection, purification)
sage (major negativity banisher, refreshing and positive and clean)
calendula (though i didn’t use it but it would be a bright addition)
🌻 Materials: 🌻
jar
white candle (to promote positive energy)
black candle (to banish negativity)
orange/yellow candle to seal the jar (alternatively; yarn, string or ribbon)
citrine, tourmaline, aura quartz, etc. (optional, and to charge your bottle)
✨ alrighty so you got your jar and your herbs (any of these can be omitted or replaced, of course). now, you probably have some bad energy so what i did was focus on getting rid of it (you can do this however you wish to) and replace it with lightness. try to think about goals you have set up for yourself to try and attain peace. there’s no fixed set of rules for what to do here and I’m probably being very vague but it will be different from person to person.
✨ focus your energy on your herbs as youre putting them in your jar. as i was doing so, i personally envisioned a big ball of light surrounding me, which then poured from my orange candle as I sealed the jar with it.
✨ I left my jar with my crystals to charge. I’m going to put it in the sunlight in the morning to further charge it, and then carry it with me.
Creativity Spell Jar
I recently made a creativity spell jar for Belinda and I thought I might as well post the ingredients for you guys in case anyone finds it helpful.
This spell jar is used to encourage creative ideas and to prevent any sort of creative block
Ingredients
Fern: mental clarity
Basil: prosperity, wealth, creativity
Rosemary: mental clarity, enhances memory, creativity
Clover: luck, success
Pine Needles: perseverance, prosperity, strength
Wild Sunflower Petals: optimism, creativity
Optional: I always like to write the personal/name sigil of the recipient on the spell jar as I believe that it helps to direct the energy and intent towards the specific person.

tips for walking in an abandoned graveyard
if it’s dark, don’t shine your flashlight into the trees.
if a child approaches and asks you a question, don’t tell the truth.
you may find some harrowing artifacts (i found a ribbon on a tree and some bible pages) pick these up and keep them. they belong to you.
if you walk down a long, straight pathway, you will feel someone behind you. don’t look
you may see people in your peripheral vision; these are the spirits. they won’t hurt you.
if you wish to communicate with the spirits, do not do it alone. cast a protection circle. only ask polite questions.
you will feel bursts of dread and terror. ignore them.
don’t read too much into what the graves say. some things are best left unsolved.
research the history of the graveyard beforehand. you need to know what you might encounter.
some beings may not want you to leave. should you come into contact with one of these beings, leave immediately.
don’t read the hidden graves.
if you find a headless angel statue, don’t look for her head.
if you find a tipped over angel statue, leave her be. she’s only resting.
don’t listen to music. this will distract you from them.
don’t look in the bushes. you will find something that you weren’t supposed to.

Actions in Witchcraft
Just like each herb and crystal has certain properties and strength, so do actions taken during rituals and spells. When writing spells it is important to include the proper actions to make sure your spell is as effective as possible.
Burning - Burning an object is a common practice in spells and rituals. Fire is considered a cleansing and activating force.
If you want to destroy something’s influence, burn it and dispose of the ashes away from your home.
If you want to set something into motion, burn objects related to the situation to ash.
If you want to activate certain energies, burn objects related to those involved.
If you are performing a curse or hex, burn the object in the flame of a candle.
Burying/Abandoning - A Witch might bury and object for many reasons. They might want to put something to rest, perform a slow spell, or banish something. There are different ways in which one can bury an object to accomplish a desired outcome:
If you want to keep something close, bury the object in your back yard.
If you want to attract something, bury the object under the front door step
If you want to disperse something to a distance, throw the object into a crossroads
If you want to fix an influence, inter the object in a five-spot pattern
If you want something to work by means of spirits, bury the object in a graveyard (but don’t disrupt those buried there!)
If you want to hide something’s point of origin, conceal the object in a tree
If you want something/someone to work by stealth, hide the object in clothing or on objects
If you want an influence to begin or strengthen, throw the object East
If you want an influence to end or weaken, throw the object West
Rubbing - Rubbing an object can be the easiest and most immediate way to experience witchcraft. Transferring and garnering energy from objects can be done through physical contact with an object.
If you want to put energy into an object, rub it with your left hand
If you want to gather energy from an object, rub it with your right hand
If you want to bring positivity, rub clockwise
If you want to bring negativity, rub counter clockwise
If you want to use crystals to heal, rub the appropriate stone on the effected part of the body.
Soaking - Water is one of the main elements used in witchcraft. It comes in many forms with many different properties and uses.
If you want something to move away and sink, throw it in running water
If you want something’s influence to rise and fall cyclically, float it in a tidal estuary
If you want to protect or cleanse something, soak an object in rain water
If you are focused on your personal goals, soak your object in sea water
If you want to bring about transformation, soak your object in snow/melted snow
If you’re trying to make a wish come true, soak your object in well water
If you want to banish, soak your object in harbor water
Another beautiful day at the farm! 😊
Snap Banish / Snap Ward
so i came up with a neat idea for an instant banish/ward/protection on the go!
you want to get yourself some of those “fun snaps” those things that kids play with, you throw them at the floor and they make a bang.
put them in a sieve or some other container that smoke can pass through and hold them over some burning sage or sage incense to cleanse them.
next just hold them and focus your intent, charge them with your energy, enchant them. whatever you wanna do but the point is that when you throw one at the floor it will banish or push back ill intent be it from spirits, creatures or even from other people thats lingering in the area.
i thought this would be useful, i’ve had encounters where really horrible energy and intent has been in the air when i go for my walks at night so doing this could help i feel.
Hello dear! Hope you’re doing well. I was wondering if you have any advice on how to introduce myself to Hectate? And how to work with her? Thanks doll xoxo
✨ Well, hi, sweetness! Thank you so much, I hope you’re having a wonderful day. Ahh, Hecate, my beautiful Goddess… Really, you can introduce yourself to Her however you feel comfortable! It can be as simple or as extravagant as you’d like. She kinda demanded my attention, so I didn’t formally introduce myself until I was already in pretty deep working with Her. However, there are a few things that I personally, would do!
Introducing yourself to Hecate:
✨ Timing: Take advantage of the Witching Hours (Midnight-3am) and any times when you’re feeling particularly pulled towards the moon (full moons/new moons, especially)
✨ Places: Hecate seems to find me easily in the middle of the night in the woods. As a lady of the Crossroads, her presence is strong in places where the Veil is thin, liminal spaces, abandoned spaces (I introduced myself at an old abandoned rural church in the woods, actually), cemeteries, etc.
✨ What to do: Again, this is pretty individual. My go to advice for greetings is to keep it simple and sharp. Make a dedicated spot, set up a few offerings, and ask Her to join you for a little bonding time. One of Hecate’s symbols is a torch/flame, so I highly recommend candles, if you can. Wolves, serpents, lunar objects, etc. Oh! You can try having a dedicated altar space for Her in your home, and if you can’t, e-shrines work wonders!
✨ As a Devotee: a devotee, meaning I work with Her pretty much constantly, I do quite a lot! I do a lot of spirit work in my craft, and I tie that in with my Hecate and Hades worship–I try to make it to local cemeteries once a week, try to help spirits get their messages out, and what not. She has several holidays that I do my best to follow, and pretty much any major lunar shift that affects my planetary aspects I will observe. With Hecate especially, we have a pretty strong mutual respect for one another. She’s very supportive, but she’s not afraid to call me on my shift–She’s quick to let me know if I’m not treating myself properly. Honestly, I think it comes down to the individual in how you want to work with each deity. The bond you form with each is unique to the two of you. For example. I ask Hecate to join me for scary movies, I ask Nyx to lend an ear when I go out for midnight drives, Hades often sits with me when I go to the gardens to write poetry, it’s really up to you! I do have a masterpost for Hecate though, and you’re more than welcome to peruse my Hecate and deity work tags!
Literally things you need to know when making a spell
So we’re all know about spell and how does it work. But we never truly know how to make one probably and usually end up messing at the end. If you don’t know what they are nor ever heard of them. Google pls! They wont charge you and neither am i, except for your electric’s bill.
Lucky for you, there is a standard formula for every spells, including hexs, curses and charms. Never forget this basic step then you’re good to go.
The fomula is actually very simple with 3 IMPORTANT steps : energy, will and perform.
1. Energy:
These thing works like currency
You’re literally cant make a spell without power nor energy. So before start a spell, you need to find out what and where the energy that you’re determine to use first. There’re many types of energies you can use which aid you with the spell like: moon power, elementals power, deities power… Choose one you feel most comfortable with which harmony toward yourself. And HEY! DONT BE RUDE! They’re generousity enough to lend you their power, so have some respect and thanks them. Always remember : “Bitches get stiches”
.And also let’s not forget about ourselves either. It takes lots of energy to perform a spell, let alone ritual. SO you need to take care of yourself in order to withstand the spell till the end. DO NOT perform it when you are sick, tired nor wounded. Remember when i said it work likes currency? If you dont pay it well, you will pay it with your life.
2. Will :
Why will you ask? Because things cant happen if you dont pour your heart and mind into it. It needs an intention, a purpose, a desire to accelerate to reach the final goal, your goal. That why your spell dont work on those bad days.
So after decide which energy you gonna use, you need to imagine what you really want and why you want to do it inside your head. Only then can you state your purpose clearly and truthly to your heart and mind. Your Will.
3. Perform :
I know this is a hardest part for every one, even me when it come to perform spell. How do we do it?
My dear witches, you already have your answer! It lies right there inside your step, right from the begining! Let me put it out simple like these:
The energy that you choose: collect things that relate to it, use words which reference to it.
The will that you want to perform: collect things that symbolize it, use words which describe it the best.
And never forget to end a spell by command it to form: bless be, let it be, let it moe, let it form…
There you have it! 3 basic steps to make a spell.
Have wonderful witchy day! And always remember to play safe! ….when you need to ;)

☀️Purification Jar ☀️
-You will need-
A Jar
Black Ribbon
A Piece of Paper
A Pen/Pencil
Himilayan Pink Salt
Thyme
Pumpkin Spice
Peppermint
Extra Virgin Olive Oil
Bay Leaves
-To Enchant/Create-
Take paper and write the thing/things you are trying to get rid of. Fold this three times over and place at the bottom of your jar.
Bury the paper in the pink salt, then continue to pile on the rest of your dry ingredients.
Once the paper is completely covered, pour the olive oil into the jar and let it seep into the jar and mingle with the ingredients. I don’t recommend mixing it up but you may if you would like, just be cautious to keep the paper buried.
Close the jar and wrap it in black ribbon. I added a ring onto my jar purely because of it’s signifigance to the spell. You can add anything you like or don’t add anything at all.
Center your energy and repeat these words or any other specific cleansing chant you may have. “It is gone, it is none. By my will, it shall be done.”
Feel your energy flow into and charge the jar, now it is ready.
Unconventional Magick: Snow ❄️
Snow has many uses but as any other spell item, it all matters on your intent.
Snow can be seen as the cold in a solid form. Something that could be bent to your will but still be so fragile it melts in your hands.
Corespondences
Black Snow ♠️
Can be used in curses and hexes
Can symbolize death from the cold
Fresh Snow ❄️
Is seen as purity and protection and can be used while warding a home
Yellow Snow ⚡️
This is a lesser appealing spell item but just as regular urine can be used in sour jars and such, so can yellow snow.
Snow Water 💧
Snow water is pure and clean (as long as you got the snow from a fresh blanket) and can be used to symbolize protection from the cold and the dangers that come with it. Snow water is also perfect for a Yule altar, especially making dink’s with it and leaving them as offers.
Spellwork
In Curses 🌪
Wrapping a poppet in snow ball can cause the person to feel cold and trapped, like they are frozen and unable to continue their lives as a person.
For Protection ✨
Due to the fact that intention is a very huge part in spellwork, depending on how you use the snow can change its outcome. Writing sigils around your house in the snow and letting the snow cover it offers protection from harmful entities that wish to enter. Sprinkling some snow around your full name can also offer protection but also isolation which some actually want.
Other 🌨
Snow salt can also give protection from the dangers that come with the snow, physically and Magickally.
Begin to work on your Yule altar for winter is upon us
AND REMEMBER your Magick is something beautiful but your vessel is mortal. The cold is a dangerous mistress and she can kill and do some serious damage.
Working With Energies: Water
I personally love working with water’s energies to do magic or even to just meditate. Water is great for beginning energy work, as almost everyone can feel its’ energy immediately. Think about it. Have you ever stood by a small creek, in the ocean, on the edge of a lake, and felt that deep calm, but power underneath? That’s the energy of water. Take a moment, remember that energy, remember how it feels. Got it? Let’s begin!
Because of that calming strength, water is great for meditation, long-term spells, calming and grounding spells, and health spells. It helps to have water near you, I like to be in a natural environment, but that is not necessary at all! Close your eyes, and reach out to the element. Connect your energy with it, and blend them together. You should feel peaceful, relaxed, and calm.
Once you feel you are ready, open your eyes and begin the spell. Let the water’s energy flow through you and support you in the spell. After your finish, return any left over energy to the water and ground yourself.
Good Vibes!
How to not Summon Demons: Basic beginner warding
@betweenplanes here’s the other half of my response to you
Salt. Salt is one of those super easy, all-purpose wards. Sprinkle it on all entrances, including windows.
If you think you’re having fae issues, iron. I like to leave a rusty vintage nail under my welcome mat. If you have access to railroad spikes, put those in the corners of your room or property.
Lavender and sage are incredibly good cleansers. You can burn them as incense, or use a few drops of essential oils in a mixture of water and spray in your room for smoke free cleansing. Salt and herbs also make great baths.
Grounding. Anything that helps you connect to your subconscious, be it traditional meditation or dancing to your favorite music, will help you recharge your energy and get the gunk, both mundane and magical, out of your mind and energy.
Magical energy is fuel for spirits of all kinds, good and bad. All of these will help you reign in your energy and control what has access to it.
The sooner you find a way to keep yourself and your space free of outside energy, the easier finding your own energy will be. Once you can reliably tap into that, magic is second nature.

Lavender (Lavandula)
Energy: Masculine ♂️
Element: Air🜁
Planet: Mercury ☿
Qualities: Love, peace, calming, protection and cleansing, psychic abilities, intuition
Remedies: calms the body so it aids in helping anxiety, insomnia, stress, fatigue, I personally use it to help headaches and migraines, disinfect, decongest.
Magickal uses: dream and sleep spells, invoking spirits, cleansing and protecting, love spells (can replace rose sometimes), psychic development, attraction spells (smell attracts men).
Description: Lavender is a member of the mint family. There are many species of lavender including: Common Lavender, French Lavender and Egyptian Lavender and so on. Lavender is a fragrant, purple flower that grows in a shrub with greyish-green leaves. It is a perennial and blooms in summer up until early autumn.
History: Is also referred to as the Elf Leaf. Romans would put dried lavender in their bath water and wash their clothes to give fragrance to it. It is believed in Italy that attaching dried lavender to your clothes will ward off the evil eye. In the midsummer witches would throw lavender into the fires as a offering to the liminal gods. Greeks would use lavender for insomnia and Egyptians would wrap the dead in lavender infused shrouds. Prostitutes would often wear lavender perfume to attract men.
*I might start a herbology note series because I really enjoy making these, should I?
Tips for Organizing Your Grimoire
For Traditional Notebook Grimoires
Incorporate a table of contents in the front or end of the book
Create a vocabulary section at the end of the book
Section out parts of the book for specific topics and add organizing tabs (like dividers but just the tab part instead of the entire 11/8.5 ones. You can get these at any office supply-selling store OR you can create some of your own and either glue or staple them on!)
Make an introductory page to announce the change of sections
Don’t rule out including pictures!
For stuff within the same section, change pen colors between topics in the section (Preferably with the color corresponding with the topic)
For Electronic Grimoires
A folder for magick and folders within it for different sections
Different font colors to correspond with the topic
Include pictures!!
Include a header that describes the date included as well as the general topic
I recommend the program evernote that creates notebooks and notes within those notebooks
If it’s too much to write out, include a link for more information
An entire folder for each section that’s vocabulary and a master one in the magick folder
