"Backwards" by Alexander Stewart. recent discovery — I hadn't heard of him until a couple of weeks ago — but his songs are quite a vibe while studying.

"Closer" by Halsey and the Chainsmokers. I didn't write "the Chainsmokers (feat. Halsey)" because I think that Halsey's part is the only thing that redeems the whole song. sorry I have nothing to say for myself except that I was reliving a bit of primary school nostalgia and got carried away 😔

"Mon Kyamoner Jonmodin" by Mekhla Dasgupta. one of my favourite Bangla songs. the lyrics are beautiful but make very little sense out of context of the actual film it's from; it's the ethereal and hopelessly romantic tone of the song that keeps me coming back.

"lowercase" by Landon Conrath. another recent discovery!! again, the lyrics make little sense but it's a bop.

"Hudum Deo", a folk song, Spotify version by Ishaan and Lakkhi Di. very fascinating because it's from the Rajbongshi culture, from the north of my state, which rarely gets any media exposure. also like all folk songs, uses regional dialect which I find very interesting :)

"Fallin' For You" by Colbie Caillat. unfortunately I have not fallen for anyone yet so I listen to this as a, like, drug substitute
