There are so many reasons why I shouldn’t be allowed to play past a certain time of night…..

So this was inspired by two people (I think they were girls but I don’t know for sure) having a (very public) conversation about how guys try to take pics up their skirts or something, or how to know when someone is perving on your character. Lots of details on character behavior, targeting you then not targeting you, etc etc. Lot of comments about perverts and pigs, some slander about guys playing as girls (though I find it strange that’s not a two way street), and other less unsavory comments that had a few others requesting they move their chat into a private channel.

The way I see it, it’s an online game and unfortunately you’re going to come across a creep or two just as you would in real life. But damning an entire spectrum of people for a couple of sleazebags is not the way to go about it. So you can do one of two things, put on a pair of pants and cover up (though let’s face it, someone’s still gonna have a thing for that), OR, you can rock that cute outfit and have a little fun with it. Life has a tendency to be short at the most unexpected times, so don’t expect the worst of everyone. (Plus, who says you can’t wear a pair of cute panties for yourself? Your body is your canvas, others are only there to marvel the masterpiece that is you.)

Please note though, I’m not excusing any behavior such as the kind they were talking about, just in the context and way they were saying it. Not every guy is a rapist or sexual deviant and some of us aren’t even all that interested in the female gender. Worst case scenario if we saw your panties, we’d probably say they were super cute and move on with our lives. My POINT is though, it’s an online game, while it does not excuse all behavior, you cannot expect everyone to take happenings like this as serious as you. Embrace the ridiculous, and if all else fails then give them something to look forward to. ;)

Long story short: FUCK yes.

I’ve never enjoyed this game so much since I’ve moved to Balmung. If you’re into RP there is SO much going on all the time (often due to lovely people and FCs doing regular events) as well as a huge RP community.

Even if you’re not into roleplaying, the community here is much better than anything I experienced on Odin. It’s just a huge creative pool of people that make this game so special for me.
