anyway just saw a tiktok that was a compilation of all of the young royals intros and lets talk about how the episode 4 intro was just the outline of the letters while the rest of the episodes letters were filled in,,,, in that moment, at erik (his big brother, his best friend, his protector's)'s funeral, wilhelm is completely empty, washed out from not just from the personal tragedy that he's facing but also from the new expectations he's facing and the idea that his life will never be like it was; he's no longer allowed to be human, to have a full, filled in character - he's only allowed to be the perfect outline of a crown prince now, nothing more, like he was never born, like he was never the second born. just the crown personified.
