I just wanna say .....

I just wanna say I love you, not because it sounds nice but it’s true ..

I just wanna say you’re my everything because you loved me through everything and not for everything ..

I just wanna say that I’m grateful that you seen positive in me when I seen nothing but emptiness and sadness ..

I just wanna say that god is good even when it seem like I’m losing because through it all I won you ...

I just wanna say thank you for our friendship, our marriage, and our son ...

Coming from section 8 housing, cup of noodles for breakfast, and TV dinner for dinner ... constant reminders surrounding me about the fact that I was never meant to be anymore than a statistic given a proposition to assist a privileged race build there economy and rise their stocks ... stuck in a circle of financial instability, ignorance, and poverty forces me to lack mental stability, strength and hope ... discouraged my momentum and complacency I face me everyday in the mirror and thank god for my struggles and transgressions because through it all I understand these are the things that test you and build you molding you slowly into whatever great individual you’re meant to be ...

grateful is not be happy with whatever you have

grateful is not laying down allowing other to mistreat you

grateful is not laying in defeat

GRATEFUL is perseverance

GRATEFUL is strength when your weak

GRATEFUL is an invisible battery charger

GRATEFUL is being able to embrace and endure , turning whatever situation your going through into a positive but at the same time learning from that current situation and applying those lessons, making your mind stronger for future lessons
