Wildfire Hearts

Imagine the Commander, after HoT, returning to Trahearne’s office in Fort Trinity. They clear out his belongings, the dust that has built up only worsening the tears that threaten to spill. Trahearne’s familiar scent lingers still, and there’s one of his leaves lying on his desk.

It crumbles as the Commander touches it, and their heart breaks all over again.

And then, as they sort through the drawers - mostly official Pact documents and the like - something catches their eye.

A stack of poems, bound together in a beautiful golden string. The paper is ink-stained and worn but as the Commander picks it up, they can sense its strength. Written in elegant handwriting, golden ink, on the front page —

To the Commander, my greatest friend and ally. One day, I will find the courage to give you these poems. Until that day, I hope that you know that I love you dearly.

Cat lady shenanigans time! Had a big brain moment to recycle two other neglected charr of mine along with Val. Rewrote their backstories and made some tweaks, and now with Val they’re Triple Trouble.

Val: Fire & earth ele from Flame Legion. Big and powerful, has a lotta fire power and muscle power to pummel anything she can’t burn up. A stubborn wall of force to reckon with, but likes to dote on those she cares for. 

Brin: ex-Blood (or Iron, undecided) Legion Berserker. A trained solider whose warband was killed. When faced with going back to the Citadel as a gladium, she decided to take her chances in a life outside of the confines of Citadel rule. Acts like a Cool Cat but has an adrenaline junkie side to her. Also has a repurposed charr car she’s claimed as her own.

I went through a lot of unencrypted voice audio data from gw2.dat and found this stuff here. There probably are more lines such as these but recorded and patched in later and thus encrypted. I’ll try to collect them when I go through the personal story again on a different alt :V
