i think you should have to take a govt administered test which affirms that you are thrifty but not stupid and that you have good taste before you're allowed to purchase pretty much any property
#Thriftiness is to ensure that you're willing to at least try using recycled goods and materials#But not stupid is to make sure you won't destroy your home with mold or toxic paint or something#And good taste is to ensure that our world stays beautiful and lovely instead of tacky and ugly#(Which of course is the state that most landlords default to - tacky and ugly.)
