I have to take a break from this website. The funny cat videos are great until they get caught in the crossfire of people absorbing information and repeating it without doing their own research. And people acting like they know fucking everything, and making everyone and themselves as much of a victim as they can. I've been guilty of it for too long as well. I read an article today that made me realize that most of the advice on here about mental illness is fucking enabling bullshit, and quite possibly the reason so many of the people on this website, myself included, are still struggling so much and still seeing ourselves as victims. Forget about your fucking bath bombs and hot tea. Get off your ass. Go for a walk/run if you're able, go look at birds, go sit in the sun, I don't care. I might be back, I might not. Think for yourself today, and truly put effort into taking care of yourself. If you know me in real life, I'll see you in real life. If not, again, take care.
