Hello, everyone. I'm making this new post in hopes of revitalizing Youssef's campaign which is stagnating. Youssef is NINETEEN YEARS OLD and he bears the crushing responsibility of keeping his family alive during a genocide. In Youssef's words:
"Every day is a new battle. I work long hours, searching in the corners of the camp for any opportunity that allows me to earn some money. Fatigue grips me, but I can't afford to give up. My father is sick, trapped in his pain, and his eyes plead for help. There are moments when I feel my heart shatter when I see his gaze; he endures his suffering in silence, but I know he is hurting. As for my little brother, despite his innocence, he is fighting hepatitis due to contaminated food that we are forced to eat."
After a few weeks of pretty consistent 20(+) per day donat1ons, suddenly we've dropped to FOUR in 24 hours! Youssef and his family are still struggling, so let's not give in halfway. Currently, we are at $7611/15000. Let's do our part and help relieve some of their suffering.

as ive said before so many of our governments are actively aiding or extremely complicit in this genocide. we are already not neutral, so consider what you can donate to help people survive.
mohiy's health has been getting worse and urgently needs treatment. fidaa told me he was injured when there was a bombing nearby which is exacerbating health issues he already has been dealing with during the war. he is now suffering from severe infections which could kill him if left untreated.

Update Sep 14: Reema negotiated with the university and $18k is the minimum they'll accept for her tuition. GFM will take a cut and she still needs more funds for schooling, so the actual goal is more than $18k.
Update Sep 15:
The actual tuition goal is now $19k, accounting for the GFM fees (approx $750) and $250 that the campaign manager needs to transfer the money. This goal may need to be increased slightly if the GFM fees come out higher than anticipated.
Reema contacted her school for an extension. As of writing this, they haven't replied.
Reema is the cousin of @mohamedabushaban06 (source). A few days ago, I made an emergency promotion to get Mohammed registered for college abroad here (It's not urgent anymore but he can still use support).
She's a 4th (out of 5) year pharmaceutical student currently studying abroad in Egypt after her school in Gaza was destroyed. Pharmacy school is difficult but she has a high average.
She needs to complete her goal of $20,000 CAD by her deadline for university registration, which is Sep 18 in Egypt's timezone. To be safe, I've set this at 12am. As of posting this, she has just under 281 hours (12 days) to reach her goal.
Despite being vetted, her campaign is moving very slowly and she goes days without donations.
As of writing this, she'd need to raise about $375 CAD each day.
Please see under the cut of the original post for the latest update. Basically, the tuition goal is now $19,000 to account for various fees. We have around 2.5 days to get $922 CAD unless Reema's school approves of her extension request (I'll keep you posted on that).
