actually ihave an unpopular opinion i’m a bit nervous to say … but for years desi people have been saying quackity sucks and people have ignored us but now this is happening and everyoen suddenly on the fuck quackity train even tho his videos mocking indian people are still up OKAYBYE

as a desi person it sucked to see q still profit off of racist videos making fun of my people but i figured hey he’s probably changed and just because he only took down a few doesn’t mean he still holds those views. and i don’t think he does but at the same time silently sitting there as your friends die on a hill for a mod that even the creator acknowledges has racist caricatures is not a good way to present yourself. sure some of your fans may tell you to grow a backbone but is that really as bad as ‘removing’ a mod that depicts indigenous people as subhuman? as something to kill and reap an award out of? it’s incredible to me how a man can delete tweets two seconds after posting yet still keep up videos of scam artists being depicted as indian. not just a singular indian person but different stock photos of different indian models. it’s truly mind boggling how a community will rush to sweep and double down on so many of these actions, and when someone calls them out for it, they bring up dream. like congrats. now we have twice the amount of racist actions on our hands; the majority from the past, including q, and a few from a server that is currently running. the ones that are the current topic of discussion. i’m just very disappointed over the events that have been unfolding these past few months and everything that’s gone down in the past week has really hammered the final nail in the coffin for me

well i hope quackity is proud of himself for staying out of drama at any cost and fostering not only a fanbase full of people who are willing to do and say the most vile things imaginable in his “defense” but also a friend group of racist freaks who care more about being able to play a certain modpack than making sure their audience stays comfortable and safe
