Hey, I’m Diona, an aspiring artist / game dev. I like to shit post and troll my friends along with maybe posting some of my art! Intro post coming soon!
I hope everyone had a great pride, be it people who went to every event imaginable, people who couldn’t make it to any, like me, or people who just didn’t feel up to it. You all matter. We all matter. Everyone deserves to leave pride feeling proud to be queer.

the whole "insulting someone based on their appearance is bad because it could indirectly hurt people you like who share that feature" is a good start for unlearning body shaming but i do think we need to go further and remind people that even if there was some physical trait that was magically 10000% exclusive to conservatives and creeps and nobody else ever had it, we still shouldnt be insulting them based on that. because the problem with them is not their appearance its their ideology and actions. by insulting their appearance you arent just indirectly insulting others who look like that, youre literally not making the correct point. stay on topic ya know.
I usually do not ask this because I don’t particularly care about clout, but for this one, I’m going to ask for people to reblog this: not for clout but because I am not hearing anyone talk about it, and it is incredibly serious.
TRIGGER WARNING. There are mentions of heavy racism along with murder. But this is very important, so please, if you possibly can, please take a moment to read this. I am not black, but I am speaking up because I have white privilege.
Recently, there have been multiple murders of specifically black people in the American South. Already, this is horrific; I don’t think I need to tell you that. I sure hope not, but that isn’t the main reason I bring this up: authorities — investigators, police, and news — have brushed these cases off as suicide, there are already at least six cases. The oldest was 29, and the youngest was only 16 years old. The families of and communities that knew these people have pushed back, saying it was not a suicide. Juliana Umba Nzita, a 16 year old living in North Carolina, had her death brushed off and declared a suicide within 3 days of her being found
“The Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police closed the case four days after that, without performing an autopsy, finding her cellphone, or interviewing the man who found her body.” -‘Don’t Sweep Under the Rug’: At Least Six Black People Found Hanging, Families and Communities Question Quick Conclusions from Police,,, Atlanta Black Star, written by Mary Ginther published August 13th, 2026. (Linked below)
It is not just her.
These are not suicides, because no black person would ever kill themselves by hanging themself in a tree.
In case the American education system failed you as most: that is because, around the 1900s, many white mobs would hang (many more, but mostly) African American women, men and children from trees. This was a practice called lynching, no black person would ever use it to kill themselves. But authorities do not care enough to look further into it because racism is so abhorrently rampant in this country.
I beg of you all to spread this. Even if you cannot physically fight, getting the message out is so much. Do not let these people’s names be forgotten, do not let this get swept under the rug as black peoples pain has been for hundreds of thousands of years.

Understanding that there is no objectively good art has many benefits, but a favorite of mine is being granted the ability to see that you hate corporate memphis for the same reason people hated fruitiger aero ten years ago, and that people will like corporate memphis ten years from now for the same reason you like fruitiger aero now: because it's the opposite of the thing that's in popular use right now, and reminds you of being ten years younger
