Sighs really hard. “Another day, I guess.” Better lock up tight.

“I guess I can be reckless...only when it comes to you, Ace or Marco though. Honestly, don’t know where we’d be without you. Probably less leveled or you know...living off junk food.”

“Pfft....maybe you’re Ace’s babysitter, but not mine! I’m more than capable of taking care of myself and acting like an adult, thanks.”

“Yeah, well, you hang out with a bunch of babies which makes you a baby too.”

“Ace keeps saying he’s the older brother but I distinctly remember when we were kids that he said that the tallest one was the older brother and last I checked, I’m the tallest.”

He’s ranked as a guardian currently, so a decent amount of his powers have been unlocked! In short, he’s a fire man, literally. Able to bend fire to his will, his entire body is made of it. ( Ex: If anyone were to try to shoot him with bullets, they’d go straight through him. )

“Oh! A plant...let’s just hope I don’t burn it to cinders on accident...” Even with Rey’s help, he’ll need a miracle.

“Yeah, I may still do it sometimes not all the time, not as much as I used to. Luffy’s pretty in and out of this place, isn’t he? It’s probably for the better. I mean, I worry about him at times but I know he can handle his own business, just like we do. ‘Sides I think he’d be happy that the two of us met up again, even if it is like this.” Best not to dwell on that topic for too long, so he figures that he should change it immediately. “That aside...I feel like I haven’t spoken to you as much as I’ve wanted to lately, y’know? I like to give you your space, but we should hang out more often.”

“You may as well burn the entire place down with how many things you accidentally set on fire...sheesh. But, hey, it’s fine.” And he laughs now, thinking back on the things they used to do as kids. Those were always good times. “What, you mean like beating people up and taking their money? Or are you talking about running out on the bill at restaurants? We were a couple of gremlins. Don’t know how we kept that up for so long...I miss those days though. We felt like the sky was the limit.”

“Hey, it’s fine. I went a whole decade without seeing you once. I think I’ll survive a couple weeks. And if memory serves correctly, I’m the one who always had to worry about you doing something dumb, still is true, too. You’re more reckless than I am, with a temper match, dork. I avoid trouble more than you do.”

“Sometimes, yeah! But I know you’re fine, so I just let you do your thing. And, yeah, I’m good! Things are good on my end. We haven’t really spoken much lately, have we?”
