It's so off level it's not even reaching the drain pipe.
I jerry rigged a fix. Now I need to figure out why it won't cool below 80° during the day.
Anyone got any leads?
Check pressure. If higher than expected on the low side and lower than expected on high side it’s a bad compressor. Otherwise leak test and recharge.
I just had a guy here last week to fix a coolant leak, he said the pressure was all good. And I don't have the right tools to check myself.
Honestly if you just had a guy out to fix a leak it’s probably not fixed. Sometimes there’s no saving the system. Might be time for a new one if they can’t track the all the leaks down.
Do either the coil shown in the picture or the condenser ever ice up? If they do check inside the A fram in the picture it might be dirty. If not I'd put money on it being a ductwork issue. (unless the guy you had out is a shady hack who doesn't stick around to check his work)
