I had been looking at those and I’m glad I didn’t buy em. Also, I get the reason behind the drain holes for naval operators but it rains too fuckin much in Oregon to have colander boots.

I'm not gonna say they're a bad boot, and the drain holes did work great, but I had so much cactus and other shit poke holes through the drain holes that it just became one gigantic hole. And so, the terrain I'm going in is really harsh on shoes, because it's all like sandstone and coral stone and drifting sand and stuff. So I would assume that it would be like walking on rough beaches, but I also have probably put a few thousand miles on my shoes since I bought them last year, just with how much I walk around at work and everywhere else. So, I think I probably did like three or four years' worth of wear in one, and they just weren't designed for that. But yeah, I would go for something else instead of them. Y'all get more rain in a month than we do in a year.
