Dimir fanwalker

Human. 30 something. Was born on Ravnica, then a sleeper agent for the Dimir. Has a Dimir sign on his arm that he just.... Forgets about it a lot of the time, and didn't recognize it when he did notice it. He was relatively smart and industrious, so was working for the izzet as a job during his early 20s. Naturally, he got punted across realities back when izzet was playing with figuring out planeswalkers exist (project lightning bug had some interesting side projects)

He landed on bant, or maybe dominaria, or somewhere like that. Green fields, happy people, little connection to the blue/black mana they were skilled at using. Some blue, but no black. They became a cleric. A scholar cleric. Was happy for a couple years.

The Ancient one? It's funny how I have overlap in the builds I want for these two cards. Obeka synergies with unearth and encore really well, which makes self mill in her a decent idea. But then you start self milling with her, and it feels like either you aren't using her all that much, or you have a weak self mill strategy. 🙃

Halo! I am going to be playing as Zalamin Horadrim. Friends call me Zal, or Zala. Attached is a picture of my stats.

I remember growing up on Ravnica. A huuuge city. But I was young when I got transported here. Some wizard in Baldurs Gate fudged a summoning spell, fudged a planar translocation, or something. I was never really all that skilled with magic, so I'm not sure what he messed up, but it left me stranded here. I bolted out of his home the moment I was summoned, and never looked back.

Throughout town I was ostracized as an alien, an abomination, or a blue mutant. Which led to me wearing heavy cloaks, and shying away from society. A few years after arriving, I wrote a small book, with the help of a guard who had been kind to me, exposing several prominent patriarchs in Baldurs Gate, as well as some of the nobels in Waterdeep, of being devil worshipers connected with the summoning that brought me into this world. The "Hellbent Highborn" didn't go over well with the locals, and I had to leave town quickly; and I've often wondered what happened to my old friend the guard.

I drifted from place to place, guarding caravans or similar (thank the gods we never saw much in the way of obstacles), and came to settle in ten towns. The locals don't bother me, and just think of me as another crazy old timer living on the edge of town, destined to wander off and get eaten some day.

Few enough of them have seen my face without some sort of hood or something, but they might tell rumors of a badly frostbiten individual living outside of town, who occasionally comes in to trade. (lie)

There are stories that one or more of the hermits who live on the edge of town are actually somewhat skilled fighters, not the old-timers they appear to be (truth)

They also say that one of the locals is in hiding because they've been unjustly prosecuted by the Baldurs Gate officials- about five years back a few bounty hunters came through, but they quickly gave up in the harsh environment, without catching anyone.
