Does the iron realm end up getting a name? I don't rememeber.

You know like. I always have this image that the Winter Princes are badass, capable, smart. But then...

The problem it that they were raised to never ask for help or allowing being supported outside of politics.

Anyone else think Sage was done a little dirty?

I do love the tragedy of Mab losing her sons, but I raise you: the book 3 banishment would be so much harder on Ash if there was someone who actively wanted him back. Mab pretty much dropped him the moment he refused to renounce Meghan, and even if she did feel bad about it, Ash didn’t see any indication that she still loved him or wanted anything different. But Ash getting visits from Sage, even while Sage is still injured from “sword through heart” and clearly in pain, asking him to renounce Meghan and come home. Making it incredibly clear that he’s still wanted back home. That would make the banishment actually hurt. (And then we get the good Meghan/Sage parallels)

Maybe sage was already disabled in a similar way Glitch seems to be. And then the glamour couldn't heal him.

Puck and Ash absolutely not understanding AI. They think there must be a creature in the computer or something.

Glitch is the reason AI sucks. They are the creature in the computer and are purposefully putting misinformation into the data banks.

Machina really is a little bitch. Ferrum ruled the iron courts since 1200 BCE, Oberon and Mab ruled their courts since far before that, and Machina got what??? 20 years at most?? Probably less. And then got killed by a 16-year-old with no training in his own tower.

I will give one (1) thing to Machina, and it’s that I do think that kidnapping Ethan was a stress test. It wasn’t just to lure her to the nevernever— if he wanted her as his queen without any caveats, he could have gone about it in a much less lethal way. But he wanted to see if she had what it took to actually get to Ethan. He wanted to see what she was made of.

I think that if the winter court was going to have the whole “Rowan flirting with Meghan” and “those girls being catty to Meghan because she likes Ash” scenes it should have committed and gone full harem anime. Ash is of course your tsundere archetype, Rowan is trying to seduce her for sport, Tiothian is going full on flirtation/insuendos, Snowberry or whatever her name is doing rivals-to-lovers, Sage absolutely refuses to engage in any of this but while he bleeds out Meghan calls him honey to try to comfort him, making Ash genuinely think they were seeing each other behind his back. The winter court is in shambles over this half-human girl. Mab wants to ice her over just to get them back to normal but fears making her into a statue will make everyone MORE weird.

That’s such a good NO ONE in summer is interested (Except technically Puck but for the sake of comedy, I think no one can tell if they’re romantically in love or just really, really territorial about their friendship) and at this point Mab would just give her back to make people go back to normal, except that would be a showing a weakness so she has to keep her. Meghan is building serious connections in her rival’s court through playing a dating sim and doesn’t even seem to notice or care about the political implications.

I see Meghan just having a huge folder full of information about each fae. Full of likes, dislikes and stuff. And her calculations of her current friendship score with them xD

This is something The Cruel Prince books handle better. But in Meghan's case, can she even be mad as him about it? She doesn't fucking remember it happened. She does see him do it later on to different humans. Or at least we see him do it to a priest in the short story before the even fall series and we see Kieran do it to Kenzie's parents. Kieran also has had to learn it from someone.

I always saw that as a part of: she is currently still a human and humans tend to forget Fae when they don't interact with them.
