But yeah. I think now we’re at 600,000 triangles in models, to expand on the graphic above. Of course the 360 doesn’t feel retro, it’s not THAT graphically behind. The advancements are in lighting, shading, and animation. The writing has arguably backslid.

I had a few people shocked when I recently shared that Nadja's (sphynx cat) breeder made me sign a contract promising not to give her tattoos. Most sane people have rightfully never considered such a terrible thing to do to a cat.

As luck would have it, I came across this on Reddit earlier. A cat previously owned by a member of a cartel that gave the cat a tattoo.

This cat has since been rehomed after being removed from the owner, and now has his own instagram.

This is the second sphynx cat I've seen be tattooed by a lackluster keeper. These animals deserve better from their humans.

Searching for "tattooed sphynx cat" brings up SO MANY examples it's horrible.

However it ALSO brings up this pic which is a sphynx cat wearing a little outfit that makes it seem like it has tattoos (a cat tattoo sleeve basically)

As long as the materials are cat friendly, it seems like a neat little thing maybe

Ok that's a cute little outfit, I just wish the "tattoos" on it were nicer lol

jeez. sphynx cats already have such sensitive skin with unique care needs. tattoos are essentially thousands of micro-wounds a few layers deep into the skin, whatever pain a person feels when getting a tattoo voluntarily is probably tenfold for a cat who doesn't understand what's happening.

Oh, it gets worse. Some people have the cats sedated for it. Which is always a risk, but even more so in sphynx which are prone to genetic heart problems that can make anesthesia dangerous. So not only are they tormenting the cat, they're also risking the cat's life for a cosmetic procedure.
