🍸 biggest fears or regrets?
Okay, well first of all, I’m not scared of anything. Let’s get that straight. Except...centipedes. And mazes. And heights. And vintage baby strollers. Robots. Cornfields. Angler Fish. Ventriloquist dummies ... What were we talking about? Oh right! Yeah, I’m fearless. But not regret-less. I wish I had made her come with me that night. I wish I had been braver. I wish I had been better.
12: Reason behind my last break up.
Is her “boyfriend sucker punched me” a reason?
49: Last text message I received.
(from an fling she had on the way down)
UNSAVED NUMBER: so you’re just fucking GONE??? no goodbye, no note, no NOTHING? you were right, you ARE fucking toxic.
39: Most traumatic experience.
Finding my mother after she killed herself.

1,8,23,40
1: Sexual orientation.
Bisexual, but it’s like 70-30 split in favor of the ladies.
8: Biggest turn offs.
People who are too full of themselves, “flawless” beauty (give me some grit), patronizing tones, CHEWING with your mouth OPEN, and complacency.
23: Places I’ve lived.
In order: New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Missouri, Louisiana, Texas, California, Washington, Montana, Minnesota, Illinois, Michigan, Virginia, Maine, and now Georgia.
40: Where would I like to live?
Washington was nice. I like the rain. I guess the one thing I’ve learned it is that it doesn’t matter where you’re living as long as you’ve got someone decent there with you.
50, 57, 36, 25
50: Last text message I sent.
(to @rose-harmon) d: thanks again for inviting me over the other night d: tacos and beer at my place next time? d: i have furniture now lol
57: Last thing I drank.
Jack and Coke.
36: Kids in the future? How many?
For what? So they can get a slice of this gene pool? Hard pass.
25: Future plans.
I don’t really make plans or see the point in them. You don’t need them when you don’t ever put down roots. Immediate plans though are to get the Gremlin fixed and make Peach Hollow a home.
30-35
30: Two insecurities.
1) I worry sometimes that I am my father’s daughter. 2) It’s difficult for me to connect with people.
31: If I won the lottery…
Ugly cry. But, uhm...I don’t know. Probably do what I’ve always done? Except I wouldn’t have to stop unless I wanted to.
32: Description of my crush.
Well...they’re so ice cold, and I love it. Kind of bitter. Pretty smooth though, too. Amber, full-bodied...oh, wait, that’s my glass of whiskey.
33: Favorite thing about myself.
I don’t take shit from anyone.
34: Pet peeves.
This list could take all night, but here’s the top five: clicking pens, people who take up 2+ spaces when parking, squeaky shopping cart wheels, people talking when you’re wearing headphones, and people who can’t look up from their cellphones.
35: Bands I’ve seen live.
Green Day, Dresden Dolls, Jack Off Jill, Soundgarden, Jimmy Eat World, Thursday, NOFX, Weezer, Slipknot, AFI, The Offspring...and a lot of bands that no one has heard of.
🍸 are there any people in town that have caught your eye so far?
Maaaybe. Look, everyone is super interesting, and my neighbors seem friendly! Everyone I’ve met is nice. Too nice, almost, y’know? Kinda waitin’ for the other shoe to drop. Like, everyone is infected by alien brain parasites, big old brawl in town square from pent up issues. That sort of thing. Guess I’ll cross my fingers on that. Unless you’re looking for something juicier, in which case....noooooope. Nope. Don’t know why anyone would say anything about me finding anyone cute.
Send 🍸+ a question and my muse will answer while drunk.

OPEN FOR ANYONE. TAGGED @peachesstart
Alexandra didn’t know what she should’ve been expecting when stepping inside the town of Peach Hollows, but this? Far from what her imagination seemed to work up and definitely not the kind of town she’d expect Clarissa to settle on. From riches to … this? With the money the Evans family had, her old sister had options. An endless amount of options. With a coffee in hand, the brunette took the smallest of sips before glancing over. “So .. what does one do for fun around here?” Alex questioned, pulling the attention from the very first person she could spot. “And make sure it’s actually interesting.”
An iced black coffee in her hand, Diana was just setting out to explore more of the town that would be her home for the foreseeable future. She no more had the straw to her lips before she was interrupted from her own thoughts by another voice. Turning toward the girl who had captured her attention, she squinted and shrugged. “Beats me. I haven’t figured that out myself yet,” she admitted. Pretty much the only places she’d been to were work and her apartment at this point. “I was just about to find something worth the time, though. Wanna tag along?”
Laundry day was a dreaded chore, but a necessary one. Of course, Diana tended to wait until every viable piece of clothing had been dirtied before she threw everything into her basket. At least this building had a laundry room and she didn’t have to schlep the heavy bag to the laundromat. She threw on some headphones and headed downstairs, the plastic basket resting on one hip as she closed the door behind her.
The building’s laundry room was empty when she entered, so she let her head bob to Morrissey’s haunting voice as she piled the clothes in the laundry machine. She had never seen the sense in separating her laundry (her wardrobe tended on the darker side anyway), so she simply tossed armfuls in. Under her breath, she had just begun singing along, “Oh Mother, I can feel the soil falling over my head...” when she felt a tap on her shoulder. In a flash, she had her headphones around her neck and was staring at the boy in front of her. “What?” she asked, perhaps more harshly than she intended. @jamcspond
Di was busy wiping down the bar at closing time. It was her first shift at Cloud Nine, and it had been smooth sailing the whole way through. She didn’t imagine every night would be this way, or at least she hoped not. A little excitement wouldn’t be unwelcome. She noticed a girl seated at the end of the bar, counting out a stack of crumpled bills. Tossing the rag behind the bar, she leaned on her elbows next to the girl. “Good night or bad?” she asked, quirking a brow. She smiled at the girl, pulling out two shot glasses. “Last call?” she queried, a bottle of whiskey in her raised hand. @selinanotkyle
Diana pushed open the door to the tattoo parlor, looking around at the artwork on the walls. Approaching a receptionist, she informed her that she had an appointment with someone named Scout. She was told to wait, and so she did, sinking down into leather loveseat. Her fingertips made drumming patterns on her thigh, and her eyes kept searching the artwork around the room. The artists here were talented.
She didn’t notice Scout as she approached, so transfixed in a specific drawing of a raven and asking herself for the hundredth time if she really ought to be spending money on a tattoo, that she jumped when the girl said her name. “Hi. Yeah, you can call me ‘Di’ if you want though”, she said, standing up quickly. @scout-owen

ilia-yun:
Ilia had made way too many cookies that morning for Lian’s day camp, so she thought to drop off the extras to her closest friends at Tangerine. She was a lady on a mission like the fake little red riding hood she was until she spotted a note hanging in the lobby. She couldn’t help but chuckle to herself. This Diana person seemed like someone she wanted to be friends with. She walked to apartment 313 and knocked on the door until someone answered it. When the door swung open she said, “ I have a spare AC in my garage on Blueberry and a car to bring it over in if you’re interested but for now I can offer cookies.”
Diana opened the door to an unexpected sight: a woman with cookies. She leaned against the edge of the door, quirking an eyebrow. Were people in this town really so nice? She was half waiting for the ‘Stepford Wives’ bomb to drop at any second. The seediest people she had seen were when she had her interview at Cloud Nine, and even most of them looked like mildly upstanding citizens. Still, she smiled. “That’s the sweetest thing.” Reaching into the container, she grabbed one. A few crumbs fell into her cupped hand as she took a bite. “Holy shit,” she said, though it was nearly unidentifiable with the cookie in her mouth. She swallowed quickly, looking at her. “Sorry, just...these are really good. What’s in them?” she asked, taking another bite.
