Mad Men

While browsing the latest Collabor88 event. I passed by this pencil skirt. Now mind you, I’ve got tons of skirts in my inventory and I really didn’t need anymore, but the Tartan Plaid pattern caught my eye and before I knew it, I’d picked up a few pieces from the store. The look felt very “Mad Men” or secretarial even. Almost gives a sort of teacher feel as well.

I recently acquired these two dresses from an Uber event. Beautiful work. Loved the detailing in the dresses. A shame though that the designer didn't leave a landmark in the purchase as well. Would have loved to explore some of their work. From examining the properties of one of the gowns, the creator didn't lead up to the store but rather a full perm retailer. So I'm not sure if its the designer or not of these pieces. Anyways, on to the details.
