Super Mario Maker 2 contains a bizarre, little-understood glitch that has only a few documented occurrences in the Super Mario World course theme. Under unclear circumstances, if a trampoline is tossed into the goal, it will act as though it was the player character and even perform a "victory animation" where it will briefly contract in the same spot and with the same timing as the player character's victory sign animation.

While this is reminiscent of the fact that a trampoline was one of the Mystery Mushroom costumes in the original Super Mario Maker, so that Mario actually could have looked like this (though only in the Super Mario Bros. style instead), it is extremely unlikely that this glitch is related since datamining reveals that all traces of Mystery Mushrooms have been expunged from Super Mario Maker 2.
