It was a lot of fun to be able to participate in Pokeshipping Week again! The last time I did it was a few years ago when I collaborated with my then best friend @echidnapower

Now, all these years later, he's my fiancé and we're collaborating again! We weren't able to do more than one day this year, but we wanted to be able to something no matter what!

Here we have Ash and Misty about to go out and dance during the grand opening party of the new Pallet Town Diner!

This collaboration is very special to me, it's like a reconciliation with a beautiful person who for years made me think she was crazy, I was the crazy one by never giving myself the opportunity to meet her❤️

Gotta Catch Ya Now!

Not even a day after parting ways, Ash comes to a decision. He can't - or rather won't - accept saying goodbye to Misty. It's not fair to him, and it's not fair to Misty either.

So he chases her down, finds her, and states in no uncertain terms that he's not leaving without her.

Well...how can Misty say no to that? They'll tackle any challenge that comes their way. After all, they have each other.

Something I got inspired to draw out of the blue! I love when this happens because it makes some of my best work come out and reminds me how much I love these two!

have you never heard someone speak with the gravel in their voice when they get angry? Because that’s what a growl is.

Have you never heard someone sharply whisper something through the thin space of their teeth? Or when your mother sharply told you to stop it in public as a kid when you were acting up/being too loud? Because that’s what a hiss is.

Have you never heard a man get so blackout angry that their voice BOOMS through the house? Because that’s what a roar is.

Have you never seen someone bare their teeth while talking to accentuate their frustration or anger while speaking with a vicious tone? Because that’s what snarling is.

But nothing is. She's having night terrors, imagining the deaths of her father, of Urbosa, of the other champions, the citizens of Hyrule. She's reliving Link's death, 100 years in combat with Calamity Ganon. Link gently wakes her and comforts her.

Maybe things are okay for a few nights but then the night terrors start up again. It happens often enough that Link sets up his cot right next to the bed, so he can be there to wake her when they happen. Zelda begins hanging a hand down for him to hold while they sleep, because the contact grounds her and makes it easier for her to sleep.

On the anniversary of the Calamity, Zelda's feeling particularly haunted and she asks Link if maybe, just that night, if he could share the bed with her. The bed's not very big, but neither are they and they can easily fit on it together. That way, she can feel that he's there and know that despite everything they lost, they're okay now.
