"i'm sure you know why i'd ask you to be alone at this point?" her elevated brows offering a softer look nearly unraveled jackson right then and there. she could be so alluring, though he wondered if that was a vampire thing or not. the blonde kept the sly grin on his face, "we wouldn't even have to attend the entire dinner. not unless you really wanted to." jackson just had thoughts of getting her alone, no matter the setting. both his lips pressed tightly together, the werewolf's heart ticking crazily.
"think you could get away from that fiancΓ© of yours? just for one night?" jackson knew she was taken woman, yet that didn't stop him. whenever he sought something he wanted, the blonde made sure to go after that desire and claim whatever it was as his own. little did he know that katherine was tied to someone very close to himself. "i'm pretty sure he can't make you cum the way i could.." a whisper was then given, as if telling her a secret.
David was too busy working the crowd and talking to other businessmen, who she assumed were all his friends. He had mainly taken Katherine to show her off and make them jealous, because the majority were either single or in boring marriages that had been going on for too long. Her knees felt like they might buckle due to what Jackson had just said. Katherine felt unable to get the imagery out of her head now, it was invaded by visuals of them together doing... well, things that people who were engaged to someone else didn't normally do. "You should know that I like it hard, fast and rough... but I bet you're the right man for that job." she purred, purposely letting the tip of her tongue brush across her upper lip. It was then that David made his way over and thanks to her vampire hearing, Katherine had already picked up on the sound. She'd put some proper distance between herself and Jackson just in time - her fiancΓ© made his presence known and pressed a kiss to the side of her head, lacing his fingers through hers. "Oh, good. I see you two have already met. Jackson, my fiancΓ©e Katherine. Katherine, this is my son Jackson."
stefan took a rooted spot behind katherine, head inching closer to the side of her face as he peered in the same direction. a bubbly, giddy woman seemed to capture the older vampire's attention. a gentle vibration of a delighted hum escaped stefan then, his voice almost hoarse with hunger then, "she looks delectable." pulling back a fraction then, he took position next to his old flame, crossing his arms over his chest loosely. "so, how do you want this to play out? who's going to lure the poor girl away from that beautiful limelight?" she seemed to be the center of attention for a small group of onlookers, each one as drunk and intoxicated as their friend. stefan could feel the desire to feed bubbling within his veins, unable to contain himself too much longer.
Due to Katherine still feeling unsure if Stefan was trying to trick her, she didn't know if his suggestion was a trap or if he'd really flipped his switch. This could be a good opportunity for him to prove that it was all real and genuine rather than something devious. It wasn't like there was nothing for her to do, the girl still needed to come with the pair after being enticed away. And that could be her job, finding a place where they could have all the fun that they wanted without an audience or people trying to snitch on them. "Since this was your idea in the first place, why don't you do the honors? I'll find us a private spot for our special guest."
the remark given made him nearly sneer at the vampire. sure, klaus wasn't his favorite person, nor would he ever be. but tyler felt like katherine was afraid for some reason, which gave him some bit of ammunition. chocolate hues narrowed even further, his wolfy rage beginning to shoot through his veins. while it was his mother's party they were attending and tyler refused to ruffle carol's feathers in any way, katherine wasn't exactly welcome there. "yeah, i was reminding you that this isn't your place. so, why don't you take that attitude out of here?" both brows shot up in warning, knitting together very tightly. "i don't ask nicely, i'm not my mother." sure, tyler wasn't thrilled about klaus and his arrival to mystic falls, yet he was more so angry that mason was gone. that was his one link to his family's curse and now? tyler felt alone in his struggles.
"Ah, yes. Your mother..." Katherine was making it clear that he shouldn't have brought up Carol after basically telling her to leave. She never did well with orders and wouldn't let anyone tell her what to do. The doppelganger glanced around curiously, eyes searching for the woman in question with a firm smirk plastered across her lips. At the same time, Katherine finished her remaining champagne that was still in the flute she was holding. "I'm sure she'd taste a whole lot better than what I just had." she mused, turning her head to look back at Tyler once more with her brown orbs flashing a bright red. "Wouldn't you say?"
Katherine's tone grated at her already fraying temper. Bonnie's patience - hanging by a thread - was running out, and it was only the cold certainty that the vampire would not hesitate to hurt Jeremy that kept her from reacting like she wished she could. "It's not that easy." The words were bitten out, harsh and abrupt. "It took two of us to do the spell last time, and it killed -" She cut herself off. Katherine would not care. Grams' loss only weighed on her. Everyone else had moved on, but Bonnie could not. "It'll take time."
"But you've gotten stronger ever since then, haven't you? Bennett witch...?" Katherine deliberately made it painfully obvious that Bonnie wasn't the newbie witch that she used to be. She'd gotten much more powerful ever since her first attempt at opening the tomb with her grandmother. "I'm sure you can abracadabra up some speed to hurry the process along. Because let me tell you something about speed, Bon Bon..." the vampire now began to circle the witch. Keeping her brown hues focused on Bonnie, every step she took was deliberately slow. "It's very important. You know why? Because if you go too slowly, well... Jeremy's death might just match your speed. The longer you take, the longer his agonizing death will be." the brunette mused, lips now pursing into a childlike pout - all done to simply mock Bonnie more. "Poor little Gilbert, having to die a slow death because you couldn't be fast enough."
