So I am still firmly of the belief that Daniel is not gonna die, despite all the foreshadowing, he's just gonna have something horrible happen that should kill him (except it turns out Armand's powerful blood keeps him alive)

And when/if that happens....guys, what if that's the first time we see Armand really cry

And how much subtle pleasure he must have gotten from the interview because Louis may have been Daniel's subject, but that man could not stop thinking about or turning to look at Armand

I know I've been banging on about past-DM a lot but that DOES NOT mean I don't want old man yaoi. I didn't write hundreds of thousands of words of that old man getting his prostate pounded to dust to be called an old man yaoi hater.

To me the ideal version of DM would be one that includes both because one informs the other; a half century long second chance romance with a twist on tired vampire tropes about love and eternal youth.

The way it feels like they're doing it is perfect, because if it goes the way it feels like it's going, we get the best of both worlds. Them loving each other in the past and then learning to do it again in the present.

So yeah, don't get it twisted, my desire for past DM does not negate the fact that I want to see that old man get hella loved, sucked, and fucked in this the current year of our lord.
