I'm about to get really sappy and really REALLY parasocial for a quick sec but that's just cause it's Haechans birthday and I watched that video of Mark's recent performance.
Nct Dream have always been my favourites and they always will be, they were the first sub unit i ever listened to all the way back in 2017 with the release of 'My First And Last' it was when I just started Grade 7 and the first friend I made showed it to me. I remember being so awestruck by them, probably because they were cute boys around my age lol, and I've been hooked ever since.
To me, i view my youth in them, like they represent that time in my life because they were such a big part of it. Watching old videos or even music makes me feel oddly nostalgic, like reminiscing on an old friendship. And I do genuinely view them like older brothers, it's hard not too when I've grown up watching them grow from dorky teenagers into the amazing men they are today, even if they are still dorks. It kinda feels like i grew up with them, in a weird way.
I'm so grateful that I've been able to witness all their achievements and the way they've overcome every obstacle thrown at them. I'm proud to say that I'm and nctzen because of them and 7Dream will always have a special place in my heart.
