Synopsis: Dylan Lenivy is a junior high science teacher. He loves his job, but after an incident that costs him a hand, he struggles to move forward and function in life. With the support of his best friend, a good therapist, and a fateful meeting with a tattoo artist named Ryan, he just might be able to move forward in life.
Dylan had a love for science and a love for teaching. Both had motivated him endlessly since he understood the concept of a career and goals and working in life.
It was his love for both that motivated him to come back to the classroom only a year after the accident. But his love for both also blinded him to the fact that for all their innocence and ability to open their minds to the wonder of the sciences and drink in that knowledge, kids can be fucking assholes.
And not just in an ‘ogle at my missing hand’ kinda assholes. That could generally be contributed to curiosity or ignorance. Rarely malice, but there were definitely kids capable of that.
