Yeah. I had a LOT of stress lately and many factors where a part of it. 

Tumblr, especially this blog, where one of them.  Therefor I will archive this blog and delete my side blogs.  I just need to focus on my real life more right now. 

I MIGHT return, if the fandom sticks with me for longer. 

But for NOW?

A starter for @detreed

The android had noticed how exhausted the other had been, the dark circles under his eyes. The bitter and violent behaviour, the lack of sleep would explain this. Perhaps if the detective would fix his sleep regime everything would be better for everyone.

Approaching the human at his desk, he leaned down placing an unasked cup of coffee on his desk. It was decaf but he wasn’t planning to tell him that, good chance was, is that he wouldn’t drink it at all if he told him.

‘ Detective, may I ask you something? ‘ RK900 looked down at him, analyzing the other quickly. Still unsure of the results he received.

‘ When was the last time you slept? ‘

    Gavin stared at the display in front of him with a rising discomfort. The stress, the lack of sleep and the unregulated consumption of unhealthy food were getting to him and caused another headache. Rubbing his temple, he noticed the coffee that were placed on his desk and glanced up to the RK900 unit for a second. 

    "Thanks.", was something highly unusual that the detective mumbled before taking a big sip from the cup. Hoping, the caffeine would tackle down his headache. If only he had known.

“I don’t know anything, you’re wasting your time.” Tommy couldn’t help the way he shook his head at the human detective, it was typical of them to assume he knew anything because he was an android, a deviant. Standing from the cot, Tommy walked to the see-through wall, his arms folded to his chest. “I told the officers everything I knew, which is nothing.”

    Reed leaned back on his chair, arms crossed over his chest, while watching Tommy talking to the surveillance personal behind the mirror. 

2028, JANUARY 5th. 

“Jeffrey, come on, this is insane.” Hank had the utmost respect for the Captain, but bringing in a rookie detective on the Red Ice case was career suicide. “He’s a rookie, he should be on desk duty, not fucking running around after me and my guys. I don’t know a thing about this kid.” At Jeffrey’s raised eyebrow, Hank sighed. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to swear at you, but can’t you see my point?”

With a sigh of his own Jeffrey nodded. “I do, but the kid came with high recommendations, he’s good at his job, Hank, just give him a chance. If he becomes a liability I’ll take him off the case, it’s as simple as that.” Standing, the Captain moved around his desk to clap a hand on Hank’s shoulder. “Hank, I know you, I’ve seen the way you work with the others. If anyone can integrate Gavin into the DPD it’s you.”

“Yeah, yeah,” he grumbled, “whatever you say, Jeff.” He smiled at the Captain, despite his grumpiness, and glanced towards the window where desks and officers could be seen. “Is he here yet? I’d like to know what and who I’m working with.” 

With a nod, Jeffrey moved to his office door and leaned out. “Reed, come here. I have someone I’d like you to meet.”

        It was his very first day and he would have lied, if he would say he wasn't nervous. This was very difficult from his time at the police academy. Here, real lifes where on the line. He could fuck up big time and probably no dick sucking would ever make up for it again.

     A deep breath, that was what he took, while rubbing his sweaty paws against his legs, trying desperately to dry them on his new uniform. The waiting next to Fowler's office was wrecking his nerves. 

     He knew, he would get a partner and he was eager to find a new friend in them. Therefore Gavin just hoped he wouldn't be as big of an asshole.

     At Fowler's call, the young officer jumped up from his seat and walked over to the office. A small, kinda forced smile, lay on his lips that was meant for the captain but then was directed toward the other man in the room. Was this his future partner?

Connor could not quite see the necessity of this ploy for the mission. Perhaps it was simply because he still struggled to grasp the emotion that went into relationships, didn’t understand why mimicking one would gain more trust in a situation than simply going in alone– himself or his partner… His partner who was not the Lieutenant on this. Hank would be observing everything going on from some distance, but it had been decided that Detective Gavin Reed would be the one staying with Connor through the entirety of the mission. As his ‘husband’.

That had raised a certain amount of argument, but the chief had quickly settled it. Well somewhat settled it. It still wasn’t wanted, but it was happening, and Connor was at Detective Reed’s side as they headed to the restaurant. The target in question hadn’t exactly accepted the fact that androids were liberated, the rumors were he had been selling them– presumably after resetting them to their original state, memories wiped. It wasn’t unheard of by any means. But there wasn’t real proof. That’s what they needed.

“The Lieutenant said he has reserved us a table next to the seller and his wife. We just need to find a reason to make contact sometime through the meal without seeming unnatural.” He was sure the detective already knew that, but Connor liked to go over things more than once. He was absent mindedly twirling the ring he was meant to be wearing, as he would coins when he was bored. “I also would like you to know that I appreciate you agreeing to this arrangement. I am aware of your feelings towards androids, but I am sure we can finish this within the week if we are convincing… I will be doing my best to follow your lead. I was not built with the intention of romantic relationships, but I am sure the tendencies are easily picked up.” And he held emotion now.. which would make it easier. Or far more difficult.

                        This was a disaster! 

     It was the end of his career. Never had he sunken this far down before. It mad him the most popular joke at the whole D.P.P and he hated any second of it.

     From all people, it had been him? Really? Anderson was way more suitable for this, since he at least had been married before and was way closer to Connor. Gavin just 

            couldn't grasp the concept behind all this.

     Now he sat with this android, his husband, in his car and they were on their way to a fancy restaurant. That already where two things he never considered happening in his life. No, actually even three. He never were a fan of marriage itself, neither of fancy restaurants, and definitely not of androids.

     "could you shut up? I want to listen to your stupid voice as little as possible.", Gavin started to complain as Connor started to repeated their plan for this mission. But something else was setting him off as well. "Good damn it! Put that ring back on your finger. You are making me crazy!"

     With those words they already arrived at the parking lot of the restaurant while Connor kept babbling. 

     As soon as the car came to a stop, Gavin turned to Connor and stared him dead in the eye. "You've the wrong partner then, because I have no clue how a happy marriage should look like. So don't expect me to do anthing but try to get over with this stupid case.", he pressed those words through his teeth as if it was a threat, before jumping out of his seat, slamming the door of his car as hard as he can.

                   veronica  was  far  from  oblivious  and  she  wasn’t  into  playing  dumb  either,  the  brunette  had  noticed  how  gavin’s  gaze  would  stay  on  her  a  lot  longer  than  actually  necessary  and  there’s  no  way  that  she  can’t  deny  that  she  didn’t  enjoy  the  attention.    

                                 she  just  wasn’t  expecting  him  to  approach,  hence  the  sudden  pink  hue  of  a  blush  spreading  across  her  cheeks  and  rosy  lips  parted  momentarily  as  she  tried  to  find  the  right  response  only  to  stammer  and  nod  her  head  quickly,  pressing  her  lips  together  in  a  thin  line  as  she  felt  she  was  making  a  complete  idiot  of  herself. 

                                       ❝ …uh,  yea’  okay— sure. ❞ wow,  real  smooth  veronica.

     He might had a lot of confidence but he hadn’t count on an easy answer like this. Therefore he was stunned for s couple of seconds and just blinked at her in confusion, before his usual grin grew back at his features. 

           “Hmpf. Alright then. I gonna pick you up later.”

“Why are you here?” A simple question - spoken with a bit more force than usual, yet there was no agitated tone lingering in his words. Elijah was merely… surprised by his brother suddenly arriving at his home. He hadn’t expected Gavin to visit him - like, ever.

He wondered if something had happened - or if shit was about to go down, so to say. Hand reaching out to one of his Chloe’s bringing him a glass filled with water, taking it out of her grasp gingerly as Kamski’s blue eyes stayed focussed on his brother.

      He clearly hadn't expected Elijah to welcome him with open arms.

   Nevertheless put him his brother's reaction off. His gaze grew harder and colder as he held eye contact.

      "So I can't even visit my only family left without seeming suspicious?", the detective snarled right back at the more famous part of the family. 

      "I wonder why you even let me in, since you, God of all androids, despite me that much. How does it feel to get more love from your own creations than you get from the people you share the same blood with?" 

       Gavin stepped closer, clearly not able to walk a straight line, which already indicated his intoxicated state.
