i don't know the woman iām afraid! like i said, i was only planning to play fields of mistria properly when 1.0 came out and itās been a while since i picked the game up so weāve never met. iāve been in the tags though so i have seen images and like some hints as to what her deal is. crazy outfit decisions i have to respect it. i do kind of wish they had some male character designs to match her and juniperās energy in terms of showing skin and whatnot bc itās kind of like :/ that none of the men are rlly to my eye sexualised in all their outfits in the same way. surely thereās a demand for that kind of character if thereās a demand for this? but in isolation sure good for her as long as it matches her vibe and i am very happy for everyone who is getting exactly what they want here. the tone and setting here doesnāt exactly demand i get up in arms about practicality or anything
An angst I havenāt seen but want to see for characters with religious or any relevant trauma is
āI donāt deserve reliefā denying themselves painkillers or healing because thatās only for those who need it, and unless theyāre screaming and crying in pain they donāt need it. I want a character suffering from a headache refusing medication because they can handle it, having a breakdown but still insisting it isnāt bad enough. Being raised with someone refusing them relief because if they were faithful this wouldnāt have happened, if they were stronger they wouldnāt need to heal. Sure the solution is right there but they havenāt earned it yet.
Pair this with someone whoās like, ādude just take some ibuprofen itās fine,ā trying to explain that they donāt have to suffer just because it isnāt bad enough. They donāt need to go around dealing with a headache when the meds are right here, theyāre meant to heal these kinds of ailments. Itās okay, you donāt need to earn it.
Iāve seen a lot of discourse on how Alpine cares about their driver and therefore logged the right to review for Monaco but the things is that other teams served their penalty already during the pitstops and there is nothing that can be done after. With Pierreās penalty you can deduct the time added but with Lewis and Oscar etc, this cannot be reversed and the teams know that.
Now Mclaren and RB have logged a right for review from their side for the overturned penalty which they absolutely have the right to do as well. Nothing will most likely come from it but at least they are trying to stand up for their driver and team.
And thatās why it boils my blood that Merc is just silent. At least show some suppory for your driver publically when the reason he finished outside of the points is fully because of the teams epic screw up.
EDIT: glad to see Merc finally spoke up. Took them long enough but at least they got there on the end.
