why?    the boy blinks,    peering at the girl curiously.    “ well   …   i guess i never really thought ‘bout it that way. “   fighting was the way of the ninja,   right?    at least,   it was the old way.   not the new one he aspired to bring forth in the shinobi world.    “ but,   um,   if i had t’ guess   …   it’d be to protect the ones that matter most. “   a pause,   then:    “ yeah!   that’s it!   i gotta keep on fightin’ so that everyone i love can keep wearing a big ol’ smile on their faces,    believe it! hehehe. “

she’s constantly searching , like the sea - breeze ever - flows , for answers , answers , answers . she hesitates for a moment when he speaks & she thinks of someone she can’t remember . to protect the ones that matter most  .  .  .  what a genuine response . she looks at him quietly for a few moments before canting her chin downward .

he hated seeing young ladies upset. it was one of those things that no matter how much time passed, it never really sat right with him.

keyblade scatters into the air , glistening into particles & escaping her grasp . she looks to snow white & offers a smile only half as bright as what she thinks sora’s might look like .

good, lysander thinks. the foundation is already there. ever so gently, he takes her hand in his. the desperation echoes in his mind, not unlike his own at times. taking up conjury had been motivated by the selfsame desire for him, after all. “i should love to teach you what i know. have you tried your hand at it yet at all?”

shyness causes her breath to hitch betwixt pale lips , her lungs to stutter . it’s not obvious , however , with how well it seems she can keep herself together . she’s practiced only in the night & only offensive spells . she could be better . she knows she can do better .
