Today is a very sad day. The world has lost a bright star. Chester Bennington was always one of the voices I had in my life that helped get through things and reminded me not to do something stupid. One of the voices that would always tell me things were going to be ok has decided that things were not ok. I'm sad, not just because he's died, but because I've realized he wasn't just talking to me the whole time. I think he was trying to convince himself all these years that everything would be ok and today we found out he couldn't convince himself. Who knows how many people he's helped with his music and his message. The countless people all over the world who he's been able to convince. You really never know when someone is battling depression. I hate that he's gone and I hate that he felt he needed to go. There was so much more good to be done. Eventually, things will be ok. He may not have been able to convince himself, but he convinced me.
