laboring under delusion is frankly the only way I get anything done
just saw a bat
I just realized I'm not going to video games for simulation and satisfaction of my need for (intellectual) challenge these days because I have managed to frame the social interactions that I have with the people in my life as game-like enough that I actually have a lot of interesting and stimulating thoughts about it that keep me entertained just as much if not more. I don't feel the need to pick up a video game because I have goals and things I want to "grind for" and things that I want to do next time I "play" i.e talk with a certain group of people irl. My mind is already thinking about the fascinating social dynamics that I have no need for further stimulation.
It's not like I did this on purpose. it just happened as a consequence of me playing a lot of games up until recently and doing a lot of reflecting and having a lot of conversations that are somewhat meta about how I interact with people and how people feel and how people act. It's really fascinating to me and I just thought it was fun that I used to play games for stimulation and now I interact with humans and categorize it in a similar way but get the same if not more joy and that... that's just really neat.
Or maybe it's because I started taking adhd meds

my mind hand touched a hot memory stove
its cool how every language has wordplay.... we created language like ok step 1) convey info so we can stay alive 2) get silly with it
you have to be very well read to hate properly. already be reading. expand your mind gain knowledge defend your position
This ppost has one tag and it's not ok how called out I feel by it. Great work
i don't hold grudges i can never stay angry at people even if i should and i always forgive people even if i shouldn't. eventually i'll think enough about where they could be coming from and the part i played in whatever happened and i soften and empathize and wish i could've helped and that things could've been different and anything i've been holding on to fades away. even my "revenge" fantasies are just imagining my life getting better. i don't really want anyone else's life getting worse. i want to give people grace and be given grace in return.

you need to reblog art. you need to reblog fic. you need to reblog gif sets. you need to reblog headcanons and meta and theories. if you want fandom to survive, you have to do these things. start looking at the notes on the fandom posts that cross your dash and i guarantee you'll notice a massive disparity between likes and reblogs. you are consuming. you need to participate.
I'm always disappointed when trying to take a picture of the moon. It never looks as big or bright as in my eyes.
In the face of a lot of interesting things I could do, I have impulsively decided to go to sleep.
