Each of the Arcanists celebrating in their respective version garments since release, and with our lovely Sonetto carrying that smile.
MADAM Z WOOO, her, Vertin and Sonetto all helped in preparing the cake, Tooth Fairy brought in the flowers, and then of course, Lilya takes the 'necessary' sample out of the cake. Side note, almost didn't recognise Lilya without her aviator's hat but she looks so "for me?" when taking a bite out of it.

So I did not realize that Dead Level Best was a dark story, gonna be honest with ya- I thought it was just a dark comedy-
Lol, Dark Comedy still requires the Dark part, so sometimes we are going to focus on that. The comedy part rests in how the characters interact and impact with each other, which we haven't revealed much on yet! Some details aren't final, but so far we've got a cast of:
-The only half decent police officer who willingly lets himself be brainwashed into becoming a feral mob hitman and bites on command
-His twin brother, also a police officer, who is being paid thousands of dollars against his will and can't seem to romance someone not in the mob
-a son of a rival mob family who spends all year plotting 45 step plans to kill his family while working for the enemy
-the owner of a restaurant that is a mob front who engages in psychological warfare for fun
-an informant who's a disgustingly doting father but can't remember the name of his son's mother even at gun point
-the cleaner who spends his nights cleaning up crime scenes, and his days in college classes and has maybe slept for ten minutes this whole week and doesn't expect to make it to his next birthday

Anyway here's small Welcome home doodles since I finally got to read everything with my own eyes on the site heehee
I just realized I'm not going to video games for simulation and satisfaction of my need for (intellectual) challenge these days because I have managed to frame the social interactions that I have with the people in my life as game-like enough that I actually have a lot of interesting and stimulating thoughts about it that keep me entertained just as much if not more. I don't feel the need to pick up a video game because I have goals and things I want to "grind for" and things that I want to do next time I "play" i.e talk with a certain group of people irl. My mind is already thinking about the fascinating social dynamics that I have no need for further stimulation.
