i mean i really did like you a lot. i did love you so much. i did imagine tryna make things work after we've sorted our priorities out. maybe after my long ass journey in the pursuit of that MD, maybe after you've decided what comes next when you've managed to finish your degree. but to hell with that. i guess just i didn't wanna hold on cuz i didn't want either of us to be held back, given the disparity in the paths we'll be pursuing. maybe i didn't want to hold on because i still have that fear of being too used to having someone around, then having that someone leave you. like poof! gone. yeah, maybe despite how hard i've tried to convince myself that it won't happen. the kermit in the black hoodie (okay that kinda ruined the mood) still whispers to me: "people come and go." and so i go and take my leave before it comes to the point that i'm the one who gets left behind. and so that's it. i just know that this ain't gonna fucking work, and that i was too tired to even try. so imma go ahead and follow mama beyonce's advice and tell him "boy, bye." but add a bit of adele and wish nothing but the best for you. ;)

i didn't even expect that there'd still be a bit of heaviness in my heart whenever i'd see UPCM's logo. yes, even if i'm already here in med school. even if i'm the first from my high school batch. it doesn't matter. kids, this is what happens when ur folks get a hold of the application primer and gives it to u as early as your sophomore year of high school.

you know what's nice? when you tell someone you've tried something before but you turned out to have sucked so much yet he didn't say it's because you're a girl. it really does feel nice since i've been told before that there are certain things only guys can do. it's a comfort to know that i have a friend like this who doesn't think that a person's gender is something that limits one from exploring and enjoying things, no matter how unconventional it may be. cuz it's fvckin 2016, duh
